Bright and cozy East Austin home close to everything. Our location is unbeatable. Enjoy the nightlife with easy access to amazing restaurants and bars on the east side or hop on a scooter to get to the nightlife downtown in minutes. Loads of Coffee Shops, restaurants and shopping in the neighborhood. Enjoy the Boggy Creek trail and the Rosewood Zaragosa Park and Pool just across the street (pool is only open during summer season). 15 minute walk along our brand new trail to the MLK Train stop. Grab a coffee from Houndstooth before catching your train all in a quiet and safe neighborhood.

We had a good stay. Close to all the downtown activities. Cute shops in the neighborhood.

Wonderful House in a great location

Enjoyed the whole weekend. Everything was precisely as described and location was great. 1 thing to mention for future guests: Refrigerator is an antique and will not keep things frozen.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

This is our cozy bright and stylish home. We live in the house directly behind but we lived here in this house while we added a second story on to our family home several years ago. We decided to transition the home from a long term rental property to a short term holiday home because we have friends and family in England, Italy, and all over the States that we wanted to be able to offer a cozy home away from home when they come to visit, and it's right nextdoor!! We have lived here since 2006 and we LOVE this nieghborhood! We are close to EVERYTHING! Coffee shops, restaurants, bars, food trucks, hike and bike trails, bus stops, train station, unique local shopping, downtown, and we are only a short 15 minute ride from the Austin Airport. We put a lot of love into styling this home. We put top of the line Nectar Mattresses on all the beds because we have slept on far too many cheap uncomfortable matresses in rental homes around the world. That will not be your experience here! Austin is an incredible and ever changing/growing city with so much to do year round. From the famous ACL and SXSW festival, to our amazing natural swimming holes like Barton Springs and Sculpture Falls. Our hike and bike trails, museums, award winning restaurants, vibrant night life and unique local shopping will keep you busy. And we are located close to it all! Our home is a great landing spot to experience all that Austin has to offer.
