Come enjoy relaxing comfort, in this uniquely designed home that is centrally located and is in walking distance from historic Downtown, Frontier Park, Cheyenne Regional Medical Center; along with coffee shops and restaurants. Beautifully updated kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Soothing and airy.
For those interested in history this home was owned by Governor Stanley K. Hathaway. Stanley Knapp Hathaway was an American politician who served as the 27th Governor of Wyoming from 1967 to 1975, and would later serve as United States Secretary of the Interior under President Gerald Ford from June 12 to October 9, 1975.

We loved the house location to shopping, dining and activities. The house was decorated beautifully and waswell thought through. The hot tub was not fully functional, so we were unable to enjoy it. The host was very responsive with text and answered all questions quickly. We would stay there again when in Cheyenne!

Just a few things

Truly I have no complaints. The check in process was easy. Quick response from the property manager. There were some minor issues- nothing really to complain about. The yard was overgrown- and needed to trimmed. The downstairs bathtub- I couldn’t get it to work. And the downstairs bedroom- the bed is short. My husband and I had to sleep sideways so our feet didn’t dangle off the bed. And there wasn’t much air movement in the room either. However- that being said- these are all minor inconsistencies. And we will book with them again.

Great little stop

The place is adorable. Close to Cheyenne’s downtown. The tub in the master is to die for!! The Harry Potter touches are perfect. Thank you so much for the hospitality!

Beyond expectations

The level of attention to detail in regards to the design of the home was very impressive and it felt like an oasis. The only downsides were 1) we ran out of toilet paper and there were only 2 of us staying there, and 2) One of the bedrooms didn’t have a door, which seemed odd to not even put a curtain there for privacy. But we loved the house so much and it was just two of us, so it wasn’t a huge issue for us. Just worth noting.

Family Trip

Fantastic! This house is beautifully decorated and so unique! There are special touches throughout the home! My kids enjoyed the Xbox and checkers, we loved all of the extra lighting and wireless chargers for our phones. My youngest daughter found her HAVEN in the basement “Red Room.” It’s as beautifully decorated as I have seen and a true sanctuary with a cute kitchen, soaking tub, shower, sofa, TV and bedroom. Pretty awesome. We loved our stay here and would definitely return!

Artistic touches abound!

This house is such a VIBE! Whomever designed and decorated this home is an artist! There's no other way to put it! Every nook and cranny had an artsy and thoughtful touch. Mandy, if it was you, BRAVO!! The house was clean and comfortable. Mandy was wonderful to communicate with. We will absolutely be staying here again!

This is property has only had two owners. We purchased it from Stanley Knapp Hathaway who served as the 27th Governor of Wyoming from January 2, 1967 to January 6, 1975. The home has been well maintained and is in the historic district of Cheyenne. It is in walking distance of Frontier Park which is the home for Cheyenne frontier days as well as the State Capital, museums, coffee shops and restaurants. This house is truly a piece of Cheyenne's history.

We fell in love with this house and unique design of the houses and neighborhood around it. Every house is designed different in the avenues and it truly holds the feeling of something unique and special.
