2-bdrm Cottage | Close to Everything | Pet Friendly

Welcome to the Berry Bog Bungalow! Situated on a real working Cape Cod cranberry bog and designated nature preserve, this special cottage is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Beautiful Falmouth beaches are all just a 10 minute (or less!) car ride away. Main Street Falmouth, Bad Martha's Brewery, Cape Cod Winery and shopping are all about 5 minutes from the cottage! Or take a ferry ride for a day trip to Martha's Vineyard. There is so much to do, you'll want to stay longer!!

This is a bright and cheerful 2 bedroom, 1 bath 1940s-era cottage situated alongside a babbling creek and overlooking a working cranberry bog. Renovated in 2022, you will love its modern farmhouse vibe. The best part is you can enjoy the quiet tranquility of the bog and surrounding nature while still being within minutes of all the Cape has to offer! Wake up to the sounds of native songbirds and fall asleep to the chirping frogs outside your window. Hike one of the nearby nature trails or hop in the car for a short ride to bustling Main Street Falmouth or the Barnstable County Fair Grounds!

The cottage has an outdoor dining area, BBQ and fire pit.

The Bungalow is:
- 10 minutes to Main Street Falmouth
- 5 minutes to Barnstable County Fair Grounds
- 10 minutes to Mashpee Commons
- 15 minutes to Woods Hole / Martha's Vineyard Ferry
- 10 minutes to multiple beautiful white sand Cape beaches (see map in photos)

Other things to note:
Autumn is an especially wonderful time to visit Berry Bog Bungalow! Cranberry harvest typically happens at the end of October or early November. This is weather dependent and so while we cannot guarantee that the harvest will occur on a specific date, book a stay and try your luck to witness this amazing piece of local culture. Please note, our farmers use 100+ year old equipment and a unique dry harvesting method.
If you cannot visit in the fall, each season offers a unique experience at the Bog. Springtime brings native birds and flowers, while in the summer enjoy warm evenings outside by the fire pit enjoying the calm serenity.

Great locale

Many things to do nearby, beautiful town. The cottage was cozy, the beds comfortable. The views were great.

Very cute and great location

Cute, clean, easy to get to and check in. Conveniently located less than a 10 minute drive from the Falmouth Main St, but still far enough away from traffic that it's very quiet and peaceful. Our hosts were really responsive to the couple of messages we sent.

Beautiful cottage

Beautiful cottage, very clean and comfortable. Very peaceful and quiet! Weather wasn't the best for sitting outside to enjoy nature, but it was beautiful nonetheless. Bonnie is an excellent host! We definitely will return!

Cute little gem!

Was exactly as advertised! It was perfect for us. We had a weekend wedding to attend and the location was a great spot for us to easily hit the beach, the wedding location, and lots of other local spots. Would stay again!

We keep going back!!

Absolutely perfect for us, close to literally everything - shopping, restaurants, beaches and many places to walk or hike! At the house it is peaceful and this trip we enjoyed the Spring peepers in the bog, all sorts of birds and even a pair of river otters!! Perfect!

Tidy, quiet cottage

Tidy, quiet cottage which worked well for a weekend stay for 4 women. Towels weren't the best quality and there were no hand towels for the bathroom, but everything else was just fine.

Really enjoyed staying on the cranberry bog. Great to see all different birds in the morning. Got to all Falmouth beaches & mostly under 15 mins. Bonnie has been a pleasure for booking & very responsive on a couple of minor things at the cottage.

We just love it here. Peaceful and cozy but close to everything! Everything that you need and nothing that you don't. Bonnie is thoughtful and check in/out, all communication is perfect! We will be back again I'm sure!

The way Cape Cod should be!

If you are looking for luxury, go to a hotel. If you are looking for a cute, comfortable Cape Cod experience, this is it. Peaceful and close to everything. We loved hearing the spring peepers in the cranberry bog and our visits from the friendly ducks. Bonnie was a terrific host and very responsive! We didn't want to leave!
