Located off of the beaten path and within walking distance to essentially everything the Historic District offers, Rue Garden is an inviting and charming rental for your Savannah stay. Stepping into the living space, guests have an ample amount of plush seating, where they can gather together at the end of the day and catch up on their favorite shows. The living room sofa also converts into a queen sleeper sofa for additional accommodations.

At the back of the home, boasting with natural light from your windows that overlook the courtyard, step right into the fully equipped kitchen. The elevated, and spacious kitchen features all of the modern conveniences one could wish for. You'll have everything you need during your stay, which makes this an exceptionally convenient spot to call home
 even just for a few days!

Tucked away, the Queen-sized bedroom features a calming, neutral palette and with a ensuite bathroom. The beautiful ensuite bath features a pedestal sink, plus a spacious shower/tub combination.

Guests are only a short walking distance away from Columbia Square, The Riverfront, City Market, and most of downtown's shopping and dining options!

What is parking like for this home?
This unit has one private parking space behind the home. All additional parking can be found on-street, and is metered which is enforced by the City of Savannah Monday through Saturday from 8am to 8pm. You have the option of feeding the meter, parking in a nearby parking garage, or buying a parking pass from the Savannah Visitor Center. All of that information is included in our confirmation email sent upon booking.

Honeymoon Getaway

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. It has an amazing location within walking distance to everything you want to go to. The house itself is very cute, and we were lucky enough not to have anyone upstairs while we were there.

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay. Great historical place and easy access to riverfront and Forsyth Park about 10 blocks either way. Loads of restaurants, pubs, and things you can do without driving. Only downside was no hairdryer, both doors need to be repaired for easier closing and staying closed otherwise it was a marvelous place to stay. Still totally recommend it 😊

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Apartment interior was excellent very clean perfect furnishings bed very comfortable. Exterior was horrible trash in parking area. Patio area over grown with weeds, fence falling over, fish pond was green. I read previous reviews after seeing the exterior and this had been mentioned several times but obviously nothing had been done. Location is excellent close to trolley stop. Walking distance to shops and restaurants River Street. Place was quiet even though construction next door. Apartment is very nice and location could not ask for more

Nice getaway

We had a great time in Savannah. This property was close to everything. There were many days I took a walk and enjoyed all the sights of Savannah. The check in and out process was very easy. The house was very clean and I liked having some dish soap as well as dishwasher tablets. The only thing I did not like is how unkept the outside of the property was. There were two plastic bags in the little pond that we took out. I was afraid the poor fish would get caught in them. The apartment needs a little TLC. There were drafts in both the front and back doors. We put a towel by the front door to keep out the drafts. Otherwise, everything was great. Very cute place, very clean inside, plenty of towels, blankets and dishes. I would recommend staying here. So convenient and close to everything.

Large construction project that has been ongoing for months next door. Property Manager should have informed us of that, so that we could have chosen a different property. Large machinery and masonry saw noises were constant. Was woken to the noise, each morning between 7am and 7:15am.

Clean, Great Location, but disappointing overall

Although the space was clean and the location was close to everything that we wanted to do, the walls were very thin. We stayed Thur-Sun. Thursday night is sounded like 2 toddlers chasing each other, and was woke up to little cars being drove across their floor. Then on Friday & Saturday nights they had house parties. I could probably recite Strawberry wine in my sleep. The next morning we got to hear about this guy talking about the huge dump that he just took in the toilet. I thought this rental was supposed to be 25 and older only and I certainly didn't think I would have to be up all night to the noise of house parties. Very Disappointed and we will not stay here again.

Wonderful location to access the historic district of Savannah

We enjoyed staying in this apartment. The living room was large and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the washer and dryer was a big plus. The off street parking was worth renting this place. You can literally walk to the entire historic district including a variety of restaurants, shopping and tours. However, there are some FYIs. You could hear almost everything going on in the upstairs apartment. We were lucky to have a couple pairs of adults upstairs but it was noisy even then. We came back to rest one afternoon and they were cleaning upstairs and we ended up leaving again because you couldn’t rest or watch tv because of the noise. The back parking area and entrance isn’t marked so it took some investigation to figure out where to park. The back door knob does not latch so you have to use the 1 key you are given to lock the dead bolt just to keep the door shut. The furnace and sump pump are located in the closet next to the bed. If the a/c is running the sump pump cycles on and off throughout the day and night.

The property is in a perfect location- central to everything in downtown Savannah. It is difficult to find and could use better instructions on how to get to the property, as our maps took us to a different location. The apartment is on the ground floor, and the above floor is rented out as well so it was quite noisy. The windows were also see through at night to the street so that is another thing to consider.

Cute garden apartment. Most things are within walking distance and the scenery around the apartment is beautiful. Quiet in the bedroom with no road noises. There is a unit upstairs so depending on those tenets it can be noisy at times but the quiet hours help!

Perfect stay

It was very cozy and clean. The location was great for the hop on hop off trolley tour which is a must do. There was construction going on right outside the door which at 6:15 they were talking off siding from the top and throwing it down into a dumper. Very loud!! BUT, I don’t holds that against the property owners. I would definitely come back again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property very clean and comfortable. The courtyard entrance needs some serious weeding and furniture cleanup. We did not use it at all. We felt sorry for the poor goldfish in the dirty fountain. We were worried what was inside after this entryway but inside is great.

Fantastic stay

I have no complaints. Location was perfect. We walked everywhere accept for our car drive to Tybee Island. Home was very clean and well stocked. Very warm and inviting place to stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a great stay. The property was real nice and clean. The only issue was with the people in the unit above us. They would stomp around in hard sole shoes thru the night and on our last night they got into a very loud argument and it sounded like they broke some glass item on the floor.
