We had a wonderful stay at Camp Westwood. It’s the perfect mix of down time and family time, all on lake time. The house and grounds are immaculate, and exactly what you want in a lake holiday. All of the logistics were simple and easy. The owners Debbie and Mark are great, low-key hosts. You will love your time here.

This is a lovely cottage full of camp momentos and decor. We enjoyed our stay at Camp Westwood immensely even though a few days were overcast with drizzle. There are books, games and TV and many activities nearby. Seating is abundant in the living, dining and porch areas plus on the deck. Beds are comfortable and there were plenty of towels. The water is crystal clear and the area is sandy and it's easy to enter the water with the steps. Our host Mark and Deb were grasious and helpful and the cottage was well supplied with the necessities. I would highly reccomend this place to everyone.

Camp Westwood had it all. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and Laconia had a super grocery nearby! The on-site owners were so accommodating and helpful, we could not have asked for more! We thank them for a memorable stay.

This was our second time at this property and it was again a great stay. Our host was a great communicator and the property is lakeside at Winnisquam with a great view of the lake and nearby mountains.Plenty of room for our party of 9. Very fun week and two very nice hosts.

We loved the lake house! There was plenty of room for everyone, a beautiful view, great accommodations, lots of wildlife, and if you need any fishing advice, Mark is there to help! My family loved our stay there!

Beautiful Lake House

We had a wonderful week with family (ages 1 to 80+) at this beautiful house right on the lake. The hosts, Mark & Debbie, were very helpful with tips on fishing, kayaking, and local wildlife. We enjoyed the entire property, inside and out, and the local area. A five-star experience all around!

Wonderful vacation at Camp Westwood!

We had a fantastic 2 weeks at this wonderful property! Lake Winnesquam was beautiful and serene. The owners were gracious, helpful and accommodating. The home had everything we needed and was cozy and comfortable for our group. Would not hesitate to return!

We loved our stay at Westwood! The owners Debbie & Mark are wonderful hosts and have thought of everything to make guests feel at home. They also stock the house very well, we had everything we needed and more. If you are wondering about the bedding, we found all the mattresses were very comfortable with quality linens! They maintain everything very well. Location is great too! Last but not least, Debbie & Mark are wonderful gardeners and give their guests full access to pick whatever you would like! We look forward to coming back to enjoy this slice of paradise!

We enjoyed our stay at Camp Westwood. Debbie and Mark greeted us and gave us a tour of the property upon arrival. There was a campfire all built for us, and numerous kayaks available to use. There are bird feeders set up in a couple of places which attract hummingbirds, gold finches, blue jays, and others that are fun to watch. The ducks will waddle over in the morning and clean up any seeds left beneath the bird feeders. There is safe duck food provided on the sunporch if you want to feed the ducks. We rented a boat from Winnisquam Marine and spent a lot of time on the water, cruising around and looking at the beautiful homes and wildlife. There is a loon on the lake missing about half of its lower beak, but he looks healthy. The camp is spotless. It was great to be able to drink the artesian well/filtered water right from the tap. They have both a Keurig and a drip coffee maker. The grill was spotless. Everything is being well maintained, and the kitchen is well stocked. I am 76 and I have some hip bursitis and I did have to use my soft hip pad in order to be comfortable sleeping. I use this on my own bed at home, so this wasn’t a surprise. There are lots of games for inside and out, jigsaw puzzles, cards and a piano. . Lots of room to spread out. Debbie offered her ripe tomatoes, wax beans and herbs from her garden, and we did walk over and harvest what we could use. We found a great farmstand for fresh corn and homemade ice cream - Surowiec Farm.

Fun and Relaxing Family Vacation Spot

Our Family enjoyed our vacation at Camp Westwood on beautiful Lake Winnisquam. Debbie & Mark's property fit our family's needs well, with plenty of room for everyone, and air conditioners in every bedroom. The lake was clear and great for swimming for all ages. We enjoyed the lovely natural private setting. The house was comfortable and set up well for large groups. It was a fun family reunion!

Relaxing at Lake Winnisquam

The home was right on the lake with two docks large enough to fish from or sit on and relax. Beautiful deck and screen porch facing the lake. 4 good sized bedrooms including a master suite. The kitchen was outfitted perfectly with plenty of dishware and cooking implements. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to relax on one of New Hampshire's premier lakes.

Mark and Debbie were wonderful hosts. They communicated very quickly with any questions that I had via chat. When the other 4 in our party arrived before us, they gave them a tour and rundown of what we needed to know. They gave us our space the whole weekend and we didn't see them again until we left. Memorable and fun family week!

A wonderful, relaxing time, We had all we could ever want for fun on the water. Spent a lot of time on the deck and several long lingering meals around the large dining table. The week was a resounding success and would like to do it again next year (if all works out). Thank you to Deb and Mark for being such great hosts!

The most peaceful beautiful home and area

This is just amazing in every way there is. This home is beautiful, cozy and has everything anyone could ever need or want and then some! Right on the lake!! Maybe 5-6 ft. What a magnificent time!! The fires at the fire pit area were incredible ! We will be back next summer for sure!! Thank you Debbie & Mark

Family vacation

We stayed here with our son daughter in law & 2 yr old grandson. The owners are on site & very available. Our grandson loved feeding the ducks every day! Debbie & Mark the owners left us cracked corn for daily duck feeding! We kept our 21ft four Winns on their dock & enjoyed boat rides ice cream & of course trips to the sand bar! Beautiful views of the sunrise every morning & listening to loons & the barred owl nightly. Loved making campfires nightly & s’mores of course 😁

Camp westwood and memories

Camp westwood is absolutely perfect. Every nook and cranny at the property is maintained and clean with Deb and Marks personal touch. I have been coming here for 3 years and hope to continue visiting every year. This is a slice of paradise in New Hampshire, bring lots of and enjoy the new dock as well the MANY different kinds of kayakes. Lake winnisquam is clear amd clean water. The upstairs bedrooms have a INCREDIBLE view and you feel like your in a houseboat. I recommend buying groceries and spend every minute at camp westwood, 🏕 its a perfect lake house. Aso the pricing is really good! You wont find a better lake house rental. This place is VERY clean, its amazing

We couldn’t have asked for anything more for a lake vacation - camp Westwood was the perfect getaway! The house is charming, well decorated, and spotless. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have AC to cool the bedrooms on the hotter days. The grounds are beautiful. We loved the wandering ducks, and saw eagles, loons, and lots of other birds. There is good privacy from the neighboring homes and we were surprised at how quiet the lake was during the week. We enjoyed playing cards on the deck and sun porch, meals inside and out, sunsets, the fire pit, and lots of time on the lake. The pedal kayaks were fun and made it easy to get out to the center of the lake to fish or explore. Debbie and Mark are incredibly gracious hosts. They were available to answer questions, provide rafts and extra kitchen equipment (the kitchen is well stocked), and offered us herbs and vegetables from their garden. We all enjoyed our time at this special home on Winnisquam and hope to return!
