CABIN ALPINE LAKE RESORT - GOLF BEACH HIKE FISH KAYAK HOT TUB POOL GYM RELAX

We are offering our house cabin, which sits in the private wooded area around Alpine Lake Resort. The resort has much to offer, with a 150 acre lake with beach area and plenty of fishing. There is an 18 hole golf course, and over 15 miles of hiking trails. The resort has many other amenities like tennis courts, basketball courts, indoor swimming pool, and kayaking. The Lakers lounge is also available for a drink or a nice dinner over looking the lake. Our home offers three private bedrooms and a rec. room / basement bedroom. We have three full bathrooms, one on each floor of the home. WIFI is available with five smart TVs in the home. The home has a full size kitchen with a full size range and side beside fridge. There is a stacked laundry unit for your convivence. The home has a wraparound partial covered deck with a grill, fire pit, and seating for your outdoor entertaining. We also offer a hot tub on the lower level under the covered section of deck, so you can relax no matter the weather conditions. The family room of the home offers a wood burning fire place for those cool romantic evenings.

The cabin was very cozy and comfortable. The bedroom in the basement I would consider more of a great room being there is no door separating it from the rest of the house for privacy. The deck was a lovely place to sit and relax, as well as the hot tub. I wish there were more restaurants and shops closer. I did enjoy the pool. It was overall a very relaxing vacation which is what we needed.

Such a private, quiet stay here! It had all the amenities and very comfortable beds. It’s nice to be able to use spices etc that are already there. New cookware and loved having a comfortable deck to have all our meals. We loved it here! Thanks for sharing your home.

We were celebrating a friend's milestone birthday. The cabin was cozy, and well stocked. We loved the fact of a bathroom on all three floors. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, and the outside deck. And the wildlife was wonderful to watch on the back deck while having morning coffee/tea. We highly recommend this house if you're looking for some relaxing, peaceful time away

A relaxing stay in the woods

Although a few minor inconveniences, such as not being able to get up the driveway, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alpine Lake Resort. The cabin brought a feeling of cozyness, the beach was spectacular, and overall our stay was perfect. We would definitely recommend staying here to any friends looking for a quiet, enjoyable get away. Hope to be back in the future!

Wonderful Getaway with amenities

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin! Quiet resort, friendly staff at the lobby, beautiful lake, indoor pool, kayaking, fishing and more! We fished for the whole day and got a lot from the lake!! Hot tub was fantastic everyone enjoyed it! The cabin is huge enough to accomodate all my family! Kitchen and dining is big and can accomodate everything you bring for cooking. Very responsive hosts! Will definitely be back next time!!!

Excellent Stay

We had a fantastic stay during October 2024. The cabin suited our family of six with just enough utensils and bedding for us. The cabin was very comfortable, clean and had great amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed being able to relax in the hot tub and the children really enjoyed the games room and pool at the lodge. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. We highly recommend a trip to Coopers Rock State Park. We would definitely recommend a stay here and we hope to be back. We had no need to contact the property manager during our stay as everything was great. Thank you again.

Alpine Resort

Had an amazing week at this property. Had all of the comforts of home. Family in the area came to visit us while we were there. Had a great birthday hiking Swallow Falls and seeing family. The only thing I would change is having more blankets available. I would highly recommend this property.

Great cabin

Cabin was great. It was clean. Lots of room for family. Hot tub was nice. We were on the deck a lot. Nice and cool under the trees. We saw lots of wildlife at the cabin and also as we walked and drove around the neighborhood. The beach and lake were wonderful. We were there almost everyday. Pool was nice in Lodge. We played miniature golf. Terra Alta is only 10 minutes away. Google Maps says Shop N Save is closed but it is open. Nice store. There is also Dollar General, Dairy Queen, Subway. We had a nice meal at the Lodge but mostly ate at the cabin. The only negative might be carrying your suitcases up the hill if you are not in good health. My husband and I are in our 70s and we did fine. There is another driveway to get right to the door if you have 4 wheel drive. We loved the cabin and the area.

Perfect Mountain Retreat

We, 6 adults & 3 children, spent a week at this lovely home. It was well furnished for cooking, the beds were comfortable and furnishings great. We took advantage of the swimming, fishing, pool and restaurants that the resort offered, as well as wonderful mornings with coffee on the large deck enchanted with chipmunks, deer and many birds. Groceries were not far at all and there was even a zoo not very far. Would consider staying here again in the future.

Disappointed = could NOT use hot tub!

We specifically chose your house because we wanted a hot tub. When I opened the lid - I was hit in the face by a strong ? Bleach odor?? We tried to leave it open to air out, but when my daughter & I got in it actually BURNED our eyes!? I own a hot tub and it has never done that! (was it SHOCK or bleach)?? Also, steps were difficult for older people with bad knees (should mention this in description). Otherwise, nice. Would love a discount refunded for HOT TUB NON-USE. Thank you. Susan Weyer

Perfect family vacation

The house was fully stocked, it even had baby gates for the stair cases. The hot tub was nice. The indoor pool, gym, and the lake beach were all clean and over all very nice. It was the perfect, relaxing family vacation for all ages. Only I convince is there is not much close by if you plan on going out. But there is a Walmart about 25 minutes away.

Vacation

My family wanted to visit Deep Creek but we found once we were there that the resort where the house was located had all we needed. We were able to venture out to the trails and other attractions easily, but it was convenient to stay at the house and swim in the resort’s pool or on the local lake. I thought it was pretty accessible to grocery stores and the house itself had everything we needed to cook our own meals as long as we provided the groceries. I also thought it was comfortable and enough space that the 6 of us could be together or do our own thing. Beds and showers were clean and the house was very beautiful.

Great property

This place was perfect. The resort that the property is located on is beautiful. I wasn’t expecting it to be as picturesque as it was. I’m not sure why reviews said stores and restaurants were super far away. There is a restaurant on property and stores within ten minutes. The cabin was great for our family of six. Deck was awesome! Felt like you were sitting in the trees. Property manager was also very easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this place. Kept four kids between the ages of 3-9 happy as clams and occupied.

Alpine Lake Resort

This is a great getaway location if you like nature and the outdoors. The lake itself is amazing with cool, clean water, boat rentals, and a nice beach area. My daughter brought her paddle board and loved paddling around the lake. We also rented kayaks and did a lot of swimming at the beach. The indoor pool is very nice and the meal we had at the restaurant was good. The house has great attributes and the host is very responsive. We liked the front deck and the main family room. The downstairs rec room/bedroom was lovely. There were lots of leftover foods and snacks in the refrigerator and cupboards - so much so that there was no room for the food we brought so it all went on the counter. We date-checked the condiments and did throw some out that were expired. The only real suggestion I would make is to have enough plates, cups and utensils for the number of people. There were only 6 of us and when we were all there, we did not have enough utensils for everyone so had to wash dishes a lot. Also, the path/stairs leading to the back door is a bit steep. I'm 75 and was glad my grandsons were able to help with carrying items up into the house. Ben was an excellent host and responded immediately when we had a power outage after a thunderstorm. Any time I messaged him, he responded right away. All in all, it was a good family vacation. Thank you Ben.

Horrible access to the house

The entry to the house was boulders that you had to use for steps. One could be a 5 inch step and the next one could be an 8 inch step. The boulders were on a steep hill that made us afraid of falling down the hill. When you have more than 3 steps a handrail is required. I know that this entryway could not be legal. This was my first rental through Verbo. If this is the kind of house you rent, I will probably not rent from your company again. I travel at least six times a year and have never encountered a home like this. I expect to receive a response from someone employed by Verbo.

Brief stay in WVA

Overall, the chalet was very nice. However, it is supposed to sleep 10 but it only has dishes for four people unless of course you like eating off of plastic plates. Additionally, the cookware sucks. There’s no frying pan available that isn’t Rusty and no mixing bowls. Most meals need to be prepared in the house, because there are very very few restaurants nearby. Consequently, there should be reasonable, cookware, and dinnerware. Lastly, there were only six forks, so you had to constantly wash dishes, as there is no dishwasher. It would be nice if there were additional living room chairs to sit at. Again, if you have multiple people staying in the home and they want to communicate together, there’s not a whole lot of comfortable chairs for up to 10 people to sit at. Otherwise, the home is beautifully appointed and is comfortable for up to four people.

Great Get Away

This place was pretty great. The space and feel was amazing. Luckily we got some snow too. The only draw backs are the lack of any stores or restaurants out there. We also had a minor maintenance issue that we couldn't address ourselves but managed. Minor but it was frustrating. The bunk bed room is super tight. Beds were comfy, and once we understood how to use the room heating system, they were also great.
