Embrace the essence of coastal living in this modern 4 br home. Directly on the beach, this home features spectacular views and plenty of space to make lasting memories.

The Space:
Welcome to “Turquoise View”! This beautiful 4 bedroom, oceanfront home is located in the heart of South Ponte Vedra Beach. Inside and out, you will find bright, open spaces that are great for gathering your friends and family. Upon entering the house, take the split staircase up to the main level of the home (2nd floor). Here you will find a welcoming living room complete with two sofas, large wall mounted TV, and views of the Atlantic horizon. One of the best spots in the house is the dining area, as it sits in the northeast corner of the house and has six picture windows offering views all the way up the beach and out into the ocean. The dining table features four comfy chairs and a barn-style picnic bench. There is bar seating for three more at the breakfast counter. The kitchen is very roomy and features all stainless appliances, including an oven, microwave, toaster oven, and an in-island flat-top stove. The kitchen is fully stocked so the chef in your group can make all of your favorite meals.

The primary bedroom is located on the 2nd floor. Being on the ocean side of the house, you will wake up to the sunrise and the sound of the ocean every morning! This bedroom features a welcoming king bed, dresser, ceiling fan, and a large TV. There is a large en-suite bathroom that has his-and-hers sinks, a huge garden tub, and a separate shower. There are plenty of drawers and cabinets for you to store any personal items. The 2nd floor balcony is spacious, spanning the width of the house. It has several Adirondack chairs and parts of the balcony are shaded during the afternoons. The balcony can be accessed from the living room and the primary bedroom. There is also a powder room off of the living room.

Downstairs, on the first floor, you will find two more bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen. Both bedrooms have dressers, ceiling fans, and TVs. The king bedroom is on the front side of the house and the queen bedroom is on the ocean side. These bedrooms share an adjoining Jack-and-Jill bathroom which has a toilet, sink, and shower. Just across the hall from the queen bedroom is another full bathroom. This bathroom also has a sink, toilet, and shower stall. This bathroom is great for rinsing off when coming in from the beach. It is also the bathroom that would most likely be used for showering for guests from the 4th bedroom on the 3rd floor, as there is not a shower up there. Also on the first floor is a laundry room and a secondary refrigerator/freezer.

The 2nd floor has a tight spiral staircase that leads up to the bedroom on the 3rd floor. This bedroom is usually used by kids or teens. It has a queen bed and two twin beds. There is a half bath with a sink and toilet. There is NOT a shower on this floor. The most likely bathroom for guests staying the 4th bedroom is to use the full bathroom on the 1st floor. The 4th bedroom has two small balconies; one looking west over the Guana Preserve, and the other looking east over the Atlantic. Please note that the exercise bike and gym equipment is not available for guests.

The ground level patio area is expansive and a great place for everyone to gather. This area features a two-tiered patio with multiple sitting areas, a built-in fire pit, and a large patio.

Experience the beauty of sandy shores where you can swim, sunbathe, surf, paddleboard, and fish. Take leisurely walks along the beach to discover treasures like shark teeth, sand dollars, and sea glass.

Explore Anastasia State Park for outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, birdwatching, and picnicking in a stunning coastal setting.

Discover the rich history of Historic St. Augustine by visiting landmarks like Castillo de San Marcos, St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum, and the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park.

Stroll down St. George Street, a pedestrian only thoroughfare in the heart of the historic district, lined with charming shops, restaurants, galleries, and historic sites.

Immerse yourself in the Gilded Age at the Lightner Museum, housed in a historic hotel, showcasing a diverse collection of art, antiques, and artifacts.

Experience the thrill of getting up close to alligators, crocodiles, and exotic animals at St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park, which also offers educational shows, zip lines, and exhibits of native Florida wildlife.

Please note, that all guests staying at a Portoro home are required to sign a rental agreement and provide a valid form of ID. The primary reservation holder must provide a Government-Issued ID that matches the name on the rental agreement. This is a requirement from St. Johns County. All guest's names (first and last) must be provided. The ages of any minors are required to be listed. This is for emergency and insurance purposes.

We offer self-check-in. Portoro uses smart locks.

• We cannot guarantee early check-ins or late checkouts in advance. If the house happens to be ready earlier than our standard 4 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, we, in most cases will allow an early check-in. For a reliable alternative with guaranteed check-in or check-out timing, it's recommended to book the night before or after your scheduled arrival or departure.

Getting Around:
Immerse yourself in the blend of adventure and activity by renting a bicycle. Lose yourself in enchanting streets, uncover hidden treasures, and enjoy the ocean breeze. Take in a leisurely pace with beachfront strolls, explore shops, and savor local cuisine on foot.

Enhance your experience with a sunset cruise, offering breathtaking views and the chance to spot playful dolphins. For the adventurous, rent kayaks, paddleboards, and other watercraft to explore our beautiful estuaries and waterways.

Local favorites include Brewer Beach Rentals, St. Augustine City Tours, and Adventure Boat Tours.

Please note that beach driving is not permitted. Beach access points can be found on Coastal Hwy at even-numbered properties and on the 3000 block on S. Ponte Vedra, specifically odd-numbered properties.

Other Things to Note:
Please pay close attention to following the house rules. Non-compliance could result in sizable fines.
- All guests staying at a Portoro home are required to sign a rental agreement and complete identity registration.
- Age restrictions apply. Please inquire for more information.
- All guests must be included on the guest list and not exceed the maximum number stated on the listing.
- To ensure your safety, proper access to the home, and guest features, ALL guests are required to read the house manual upon arrival and notify Portoro with any questions.
- Known damages incurred during your stay must be reported to the property manager immediately.
- Before check-in, we will send you detailed directions to ensure a seamless arrival.
- Pets are allowed at this home with the manager's approval at a rate of $225 (1 dog) and $125 (2 dogs). If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without Portoro’s approval, there will be a cleaning charge of $500. Owner must pick up after dogs - no exceptions.
- We cannot guarantee early check-ins or late checkouts. When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one-hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check-in or late check-out is great, your best option is to book an additional night.
- The home has cameras for external monitoring only.
- HOTEL TAX COLLECTION: Both St. Johns County and the State of Florida require all hotel and vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these two taxes within the booking transaction. The state requires 6.5% and the county requires 5%.
- LONG-TERM STAYS: (Snowbird, long-term rental). Contact Wren Beach Rentals by Portoro to discuss if a long-term stay discount applies to this listing. Stays over six months are waived from paying the State and Local Hotel Tax. However, there are additional fees we need to collect for damage coverage and housekeeping. In compliance with our policies for long-term stays, we need to collect an additional cleaning fee for guests staying longer than 3 weeks. Your Guest Ambassador will coordinate the cleaning schedule for a minimum of once every 2 weeks. You can request cleanings more frequently if desired. Additional cleaning charges will be sent using a payment request or resolution request, immediately following the cleaning. Your guest ambassador will reply shortly and be available to assist you where needed.

Beach Life
We had a wonderful stay! We very much enjoyed wailing on the beach and looking for sea shells. The house is very well stocked and the garage space made storing chairs and coolers a breeze. The patio area is fantastic and we enjoyed evening fires in the fire pit. A great house and convenient location.

Beautiful Private Beach
The house was steps from the beach which was exactly what we were looking for, the fire pit on the back patio lead to beautiful views of the ocean and moon coming up. Many days we saw dolphins passing by. David and Jason were very attentive to the few queations i had upon arrival. We had an amazing week on our own private beach!

Wren Beach Rentals is a local, family-owned business. Like most small businesses, we have a very humble beginning. In 1978, Judy Wren, a full-time professor at the University of North Florida, purchased a beach house in this sleepy little beach town called South Ponte Vedra Beach. While the family enjoyed spending time at the beach house, Judy discovered that she could rent it as a short-term vacation rental. Realizing the rental potential, she purchased two more homes for rentals and managing one other for a friend.

Judy’s son, David Lombana, joined Wren Beach Rentals in 2008. While Judy was content with handling her few homes and looking forward to retirement, David was much more interested in growing the business. His outgoing personality and easy-to-talk-to character made him the perfect person to begin the expansion. Within a few years, Wren Beach Rentals had grown from 4 properties to 20, and counting. After David had been in the business for about 10 years, it was clear that more help was needed. Enter the tech savvy Daphne, David's wife.

Daphne is a wiz in the “behind the scenes” areas of the business. By introducing new software and reservation platforms, Daphne has streamlined the day-to-day operations and brought Wren Beach Rentals into the 21st Century!

In 2020 have since grown to include Daniel, son of David and Daphne, and Jason Misora as maintenance director to oversee the normal operations of our properties.

We cherish our repeat guests who have been coming back year after year, and we look forward to meeting all of the first timers. If you are ever in the area, give us a call. We’d love to meet you, too.
