Sandy Toes was the perfect place for a family gathering. With 3 levels of bedrooms, everyone could spread out and have privacy as needed. We were all impressed with the beach view and easy access to it. There were plenty of beach towels and toys, inside and out, for the kids to enjoy. And the hot tub was a special treat to enjoy under the full moon.We had 2 minor issues that were addressed immediately by the host, and they were nothing that interfered with our time there. We hope to all gather again there sometime in the future.

Elizabeth, a beach view with the sand just steps away is what turns a family gathering into a proper getaway, and three levels of bedrooms clearly gave everyone room to breathe. A hot tub under the full moon sounds like the perfect finish. The door is open whenever the whole group wants to gather again.

Can’t beat the location for the price! Comfortable accommodations and authentic beach house vibes. Appreciated the abundance of bath and beach towels. We had a few maintenance issues come up and each was addressed promptly. Very communicative and accommodating host- we inquired about beach chairs and had 6 brand new chairs delivered with a couple hours!

Destiny, six brand new beach chairs showing up within hours is exactly the kind of thing that turns a good trip into a great one, and it sounds like that spirit carried through every time something came up. Authentic beach house atmosphere with a location at that price point is a combination worth coming back for.

Sandy Toes is a great location! Our family had a great time playing at the beach, relaxing in the hot tub and spending time together in the house. The bed rooms are large and accommodating. The kitchen is well stocked. They had extra garbage bags, toilet paper and laundry detergent, which was a wonderful surprise. The beds were comfortable. The owners were very quick to respond to questions. I would return!

Wonderful weekend

This is one of the nicest properties that I have stayed at. It was very clean inside and out! The house is stocked with everything you will need so you only need to bringing yourselves and fun (ok and maybe a little food). The seats at the end of the walkway to the beach are perfect. Even though the day was not perfect to sit there and feel like you are on the beach is wonderful. I would recommend this house for a family or two and I will definitely be back.

Always a pleasure

This was our 5th time staying here and will be back next year. Property is immaculate and the outside patio is perfect place to hang out. Only reason this stay didn’t get 5 stars was a smoke detector that decided to start malfunctioning at 4 in the morning that I had to deal with, minor but it was a pain.

Tranquility at it's best!

The home was beautifully decorated. It was meticulously maintained, warm, inviting, and beachy! The home had everything we needed! It was a great place for our adult children to meet us and gave us the opportunity to relax and catch up! Our dog enjoyed the beach, home and having their family with them. Very dog friendly especially with the fenced in side yard! We couldn't have asked for a better home to accommodate our family. Thank you!

The property was nice. However, a damper was placed on our entire stay because we did not have a functional oven. We planned meals and prepped things to pop in the oven, but all that was wasted effort. We had to go out to eat we couldn’t do any baking or cooking. I made three phone calls and we got apologies but nothing to change the situation. They sent a tiny toaster oven that was not large enough to fit a casserole dish. I called to say the toaster oven was inadequate and a larger one was promised, we never did receive it. One of the nights we took a prepped lasagna to my daughter’s home, which was an hour away to use her oven!!!! We were told someone would come to repair the oven on the day BEFORE we were to check out and no one showed up! We did not appreciate being told things would happen that did not. This is not a way to run a business. Not happy! We should be compensated for the expense of having our meal plans disabled due to lack of a basic need, a working oven!

We know this disrupted your vacation plans and required you to make alternative arrangements, including dining out and transporting meals elsewhere. Our team worked to arrange a repair as quickly as possible and attempted to have a technician address the issue during your stay. Unfortunately, the repair required a replacement part that had to be specially ordered, and we were informed that it would not arrive until Tuesday. While we provided an alternative cooking option in the meantime, we understand it did not fully meet your needs. We sincerely appreciate your patience and the detailed feedback you've provided. Comments like yours help us identify opportunities to improve both our communication and guest experience. Although it rained the entire week, we very much enjoyed our stay at Sandy Toes. The house was very comfortable for all the indoor time. Only a few steps into the house which is nice when you are loaded with groceries or luggage. Very short walk to the beach. The enclosed side yard was wonderful for our dogs. And they had fun on the uncrowded beach as well when weather permitted. Lots to do in this area on rainy days. We did not do a great deal of cooking due to the inclement weather - not good for grilling. But my grandchildren taught me how to DoorDash and this is my new favorite recipe. lol If you like tacos, be sure to check out Osprey Tacos. The management was right on top of any needs we had - and they were few. The hospitality was exceptional. Trash bags, toilet paper, dish soap, laundry detergent, hand soap, towels for the beach and much more was provided. We have never before stayed in a house that furnished- all of those things. House was very, very comfortable for our group of 10 and two dogs.

We always love our stay at "plentiful" Sandy Toes

We (my wife, daughter and Coco our Golden) love staying at Sandy Toes. It's the perfect place for us to get-away from it all. The home is well appointed with a nice kitchen and "plenty" of everything you'd need to cook a good meal and the BBQ outside makes it nice for grilling fresh caught fish or local shrimp. The beach is beautiful with hardly anyone on it and our Coco loves digging in the clean sand and jumping the waves. The home has some beach chairs, "plenty" of buckets for sand castles and boogie boards for the surf so we didn't need to bring or buy anything at the Publix store 15 minutes away...and "plenty" of towels to use after the beach or after some time in the hot-tub on the deck watching the clouds or night sky. Although the house might seem small for a larger family or friends...there are "plenty" of bedrooms and beds...TV's...and bathrooms...AND there is always "plenty" of space on the beach. That's why we like Ponte Vedra...it's all about the beach. Wren Beach Rental has some other beautiful properties that we have rented in the past when we needed a home with a bigger "area" inside the house for family and friends...but for us Sandy Toes had plenty of room. Owners keep this house very clean and comfortable and Wren Beach Rentals make it very easy to rent from...as we keep coming back to year after year.

Great House! Very Clean upon Arrival! Awesome!

First I want to say that having David as my point of contact for everything was the BEST! He answered every single question within MINUTES of my emails! I had several emails back and forth to him and he simply was awesome! When considering renting a property site unseen except photos you never know what you are really going to get. The house was spot on with everything! Absolutely no complaints whatsoever! Beach towels, bath towels, linens, blankets, extra pillows you name it it was as the house! Kitchen fully stocked, supplied with paper towels, toilet paper dish detergent, laundry detergent, more than enough for the week. Double washer and dryers could not be beat! Location, fabulous! Quiet, beach to ourselves. Shells galore. Grilling on the deck watching the ocean...need I say more? Hot tub on the deck was superb! What an amazing deluxe hot tub! The ocean was cold, so this was a treat to have! Extra refrigerator in the garage, beach chairs, ocean toys..... It accommodated my elderly parents by having a master on the ground floor. The teenagers loved the bunk bed room and the other set went upstairs to their own private area. But, to recap above what made it even better was the fact that it felt like David was right next door and that no matter what the question was he was able to immediately answer it for me and comfort me in any doubt I might have had. It is not necessarily because of the awesome house experience that I would rent again, but, because of the manager David who took care of everything! Kudos, job well done!

Christmas turned sour by Property Managment

The house is small, old, and the “luxury” listing is a stretch. We checked out on time at 10am. I received an irate phone call from Daphne at 3:46pm. Daphne was irate, saying we broke the dining room table, the coffee table & the glitter wrapping paper we used for Christmas was all over the sofa and I needed to buy her a new one, and her housekeeper had to spend an extra hour cleaning the property. We stripped all the beds, did all the laundry, the dishes and took out the trash. Trash day was written on the refrigerator and it fell on Christmas, we did not receive any notice regarding a new trash day so we put trash out the next day. The day I bought a bunch of fresh flowers from Fresh Market, I came home & could not find 1 vase in the entire home, so I reached out via email, only to receive a snarky comment from Daphne “are you having a party?!” I was decorating for my family. We had issues with cleanliness when we checked in & as you can see a variety of different things. However, it was Christmas week and we were spending time at our families homes in the surrounding areas. After Daphne’s irate phone call, she was going to send me pictures, because I had no idea what she was talking about with all the broken furniture…she never did. However, it being Christmas & having 2 small children I had lots of photos of my family & the furniture. I reached out to VRBO with the situation and sent them all my photos.

Please look back other reviews and see that we get amazing reviews about the house and our professionalism when things arise. This guest is upset because I did call after checkout when my cleaners arrived and found red glitter all over the place, floors, couches, beds, everywhere. They didn't follow any of our house rules and violated their rental agreement. The house is not small and it is not old. The owners did a complete renovation down to the studs in 2019. Everything is updated and the furnishings are all less than 2 years old.

Amazing property. Just as advertised. Right on the beach! Clean, new and wonderful!

The property was gorgeous! Right on the beach with all the amenities. Grill, Hot Tub and open living space for everyone to get together. The property agency was very communicative and open and honest when we had an issue but it was resolved even before we landed. Would highly recommend it again.

Slice of paradise

We wish we could have stayed longer! The space was so relaxing, the beach was secluded and we only saw a handful of people the whole time, and it's a short drive to anything you might need. The hot tub was such a perk and so was having so much space to do laundry. The beach is literally 20 steps away from the back door. We had 4 kids ages 5-10 there and they loved it as much as we did! Thank you so much!

Great beach house

Can't get much closer to the ocean than this lovely little beach house. Comes as advertised with easy check in and out. Had all the amenities needed for cooking and baking. Would definetly stay again.

The house is lovely-exactly as pictured. And when a few issues came up (AC and TV) they were promptly resolved-really professional and friendly property management team. Would definitely stay again!

Home away from home

My family and I absolutely loved this property so much! So roomy and cozy and a little bit of the lavish living on ponte vedra! We brought our 1 year old pup who enjoyed the side yard and running on the beach! We cannot wait to come back to sandy toes!
