We had a wonderful time here over a long weekend this fall!It’s a really comfortable home, with a great living room that attaches to an open kitchen. The large master bedroom is awesome, and a nice private backyard too. The design is free-flowing and eclectic, really colorful and fun. It has great views from many rooms. The bedrooms have a non-traditional set-up (walk through one bedroom and the bathroom to get to the master bedroom); it worked fine for our family! There is a small separate unit on the property that was occupied for some of the weekend, which we didn’t realize beforehand, but it wasn’t disruptive in any way. Zara was super responsive to us and a really friendly host. Very glad to have stayed here!

The 29 Palms location is close to an entrance to Joshua Tree National Park and about a half hour away from the town of Joshua Tree. The house was roomy, well outfitted and very comfortable. The hot tub on a cool desert morning was lovely. Zara was a gracious and incredibly responsive host. In addition, it was was an incredible value. I highly recommend it.

The layout of the bedrooms is a little unusual. You have to travel through one to get to the other two and you have to go through the main bathroom to get to two bedroom. This, however wasn't an issue for us. We were all women. The house is so comfortable and inviting. The owner is absolutely amazing with communication! I make at least 4 trips per year to the area. I will definitely look into staying here again!

Our host was quick to communicate . When I communicated that I had broken my foot, she responded with suggestions of alternative activities to the hiking we had hoped to do. Her insight helped us adapt our trip so that it was delightful, despite the reduction in hiking. The location is convenient to Joshua Tree National Park, plus other local destinations. The house itself is lovely and well appointed. Both the sunrise and sunset are readily visible from the property.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Its centrally located to the National Park and off the main road enough to feel secluded and surrounded by mountains and desert landscapes, but not so far out that I would have been scared alone. I like also being a short drive to events in the area and restaurants. It is a great location to come and unwind.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Location, Location, Location! It's set right in between the two Joshua Tree National Park entrances. Also, my property is rich in history and still has the original flat roof mid-century design. Its interior design includes originals from the mid-century era and not a bunch of replicas. The home is still filled with character and some upgraded modern touches.
