Lovely Home, but Check-In Problems and Too Much Morning Light

Overall, our stay was pleasant. The property was cozy, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit.However, there were a couple of challenges worth mentioning. The skylights located directly above the bed and in the kitchen let in a significant amount of early morning light, making it difficult to sleep in past sunrise. While the natural light is nice during the day, it might be helpful to have a way to cover the skylights for guests who prefer to rest in.Additionally, we experienced difficulty accessing the property upon arrival. The door code provided was incorrect, and it took about 30 minutes before we could get in. Unfortunately, no one initially answered the office phone or after-hours line, and messages through Facebook went unanswered for a while. When we finally reached someone, we were told it was due to a computer glitch.This has happened before with Paso Vacation Rentals, so it may be worth reviewing their check-in and support process. Having a dedicated emergency line for guests who have already checked in or are trying to access their rental would make a big difference.Overall, the home itself was very nice and well-maintained, but the check-in process and early morning light were the main drawbacks.
