Detta privata hem Àr i en fantastisk Ocean Beach (OB) plats - steg till stranden med fantastisk utsikt och bekvÀmligheter.

Detta nyligen ombyggda 3 sovrum, 2 badrum hemma pÄ 2: a story nivÄ har en gourmet kök med bÀnkskivor i granit. Alla köksmaskiner och redskap du behöver för en avkopplande semester inklusive: mixer, kaffebryggare, brödrost och full storlek ugn, 5-brÀnnare gasspis och en mÀngd olika grytor och stekpannor. Köket har ocksÄ en bar höjd disk och avföring utöver matsalen tabell med fantastisk utsikt över stranden. Titta pÄ solnedgÄngen som du Àta.

Det stora sovrummet har en queen size-sÀng, vÀlvda tak och tillgÄng till en uteplats, unika bestÀllnings- bad med tropisk kakel, överdimensionerad badkar och anpassade dusch.

De 2: a och 3: e sovrum bÄda har tropisk inredning och drottning och full size-sÀngar, respektive.

Det hÀr huset har en privat tropisk uteplats samt en balkong utanför av farstun och sovrummet. Det finns en tvÀttmaskin och torktumlare i enheten. 2 off-street parkeringsplatser som - en premie för att vara sÄ nÀra till stranden

För underhÄllning och företag (om du vÀljer att göra nÄgot) det hÀr huset har en HDTV tillsammans med trÄdlöst internet.

Trevlig tyst OB lÀge, men ÀndÄ nÀra till allt San Diego har att erbjuda. Med bara nÄgra steg till stranden du inte kan slÄ denna plats - perfekt för att surfa, kajakpaddling, bodyboarding - eller bara koppla av pÄ stranden. Du kan Àven titta pÄ surfare och stranden action direkt frÄn matbordet - du kan Àven se delfiner leka i vÄgorna. Med utsikt frÄn vardagsrummet, matsal och kök som du aldrig kommer att kÀnna lÄngt frÄn stranden.

Det hÀr huset Àr en lÀtt promenad (bara nÄgra kvarter) till den berömda OB piren (den lÀngsta betong piren pÄ vÀstkusten) och huvudaffÀrsdistriktet Ocean Beach - Newport Avenue. PÄ Newport hittar du restauranger (frÄga om vÄra favoriter), antikaffÀrer, kaféer, barer, cykel och surfa butiker. PÄ onsdag kvÀllar Newport Avenue har en bondens marknad dÀr du kan hitta lokala frukt, grönsaker och blommor, gatuförestÀllningar och matsÀljare.

Great Beach Getaway

The owner has created a cozy home away from home! We enjoyed the art throughout the house, the stained glass window, and the mosaic decorative art in the bathroom and on the outside staircase. There is an amazing view of the ocean and easy access to a beautiful beach! We enjoyed walking the beach in the mornings and watching the surfers, then continuing up the beach to dog beach to watch the dogs playing in the water. And everyone cleans up after their dogs and is respectful. There are also lifeguards, which we were happy to see as our kids (ages 12 and 16) enjoyed boogie boarding. Check in and check out were very easy and everything was hassle free. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Great Family Beach Vacation

We absoultely loved Susan beach house. It was super cozy and made us feel at home. No issues, except we had to leave. It was so great waking up on the beach each morning. Everything is very walkable.

Exactly what we needed!

Perfect spot for us for our trip to see our son graduate from MCRD. Right on the beach, within walking distance to everything we needed, & close to airport. Only issue is neighbor leaves outside light on from 5pm to 5am & it shines right in your face when youre trying to sleep in the master. sleethmastbedroom.

Great OB Location

I have stayed in about 8 different locations in OB over the years and you can't beat this for overall location for both beach access combined with easy walk to Newport Ave and even closer for my coffee and breakfast stop most mornings to Newbreak Cafe. Going to the beach with ease when you felt like going out was great, especially on a crowded day when not much room to setup. The kitchen and dining is great with more than you need and staring out at the ocean as you eat or drink your coffee each morning.

Wonderful home and location

Six of us stayed here, and it was plenty spacious for all of us. The kitchen is very nice and had everything we needed. The custom mosaic tile work in the home is beautiful. The home is steps from the beach and easy walking distance to the pier, shops and restaurants. The view from the dining area is spectacular! A great place to start the day with coffee, and end the day with the sunset!

Wonderful Beach Adjacent Property

Our party was 3 adults and 2 kids (ages 5 and 7). We visited during the summer and had a great time staying at this property. It truly is steps away from the beach and it was wonderful to be able to bring my kids to the surf every evening. There are only 2 I'd warn future guests about: * The WiFi was inconsistent; sometimes it worked great, other times it scarcely worked at all. * The house relies on fans for cooling. We slept comfortably most nights (the San Diego climate is wonderful) but it does require preparation. The owner provides instructions for this. It really is a lovely home and the owner clearly has spent a lot of time adding her own artistic touches. I am grateful that we were able to spend time there.

Amazing Location. Beautiful Home.

The view from the dining room window is EXACTLY like the photo in the listing! We really enjoyed watching the surf, the surfers and the people. We felt very much at home. The mosaics add so much character! We really enjoyed the tile in both bathrooms especially. I loved finding the little fish in the master bath tile. The kitchen is beautiful, huge and well-stocked. The bed was great - we slept well. We love the windows and skylights - so much great natural light during the day! - also the stained glass window in the bedroom. The walls are covered with beautiful artwork. We were so glad for the large rectangular kitchen table! We do spend some time working and it was a great place to set up our computers. (So many places only have a tiny round table or none at all.) It seems it would also be a great place for game-playing. And the VIEW!!!!! We were so glad to have a place to park! Not only is the house great, but the location is also fantastic! We loved exploring the beach and the Ocean Beach community. It has a fun vibe and cute shops. If you can, make it to the farmer’s market on Wednesday evening. It was so close to everything we wanted to see - Balboa Park, the zoo, the Naval Training Center, the Mormon Battalion site, the Old Town Trolley in Old Town and others. Our only complaint is that the heat wasn't working and we were there when the weather was cool. She didn't send anyone to fix it, so we just wore jackets until the sun warmed it up in the afternoon. We definitely want to stay there again. It's beautiful and we love the location!

Pros: ocean view from dining room, lovely and spacious bathrooms, large and well equipped kitchen, good beach chairs and equipment for children. Comfortable beds. Cons: stressful check in due to being given wrong code for door and host not picking up calls (a friend had to check on host as she was not responding to us or VRBO). Ice maker did not work, photo showed gas grill as well as binder but no gas grill. Marijuana smell was thick on Sunday coming from neighbors, take ear plugs as house is under flight path. I will probably get a negative review as guest as I assumed there would be parking for 2 cars since it sleeps 8.

OB is a classic San Diego neighborhood and this is the place to enjoy it. Walking distance to anything you want, and a short uber from all the best SD has to offer.

Beautiful Biking in San Diego

Great location for our biking group to stay as we toured around San Diego. There were 6 in our group, the house was very comfortable for us, with a big kitchen, dining area and sitting areas. We were able to store our bikes outside and under cover. This location is also close to plenty of restaurants in the center of Ocean Beach, bird watching on the San Diego river and watching the sunset. Ocean Beach has a classic hippie-surfer vibe...friendly, laid back & eclectic! We really enjoyed our stay :-)

Great space in great place

You can’t get much luckier than this. The house is on the beach as shown in the photo of the terrific view from the dining room. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, it is within easy walking distance of coffee, dining, groceries, and shopping. We did not go swimming, (brr! April!) but enjoyed walking and sitting near the shore. Ocean Beach is a wonderful central location with a low-key, friendly vibe, and we could easily drive to the Zoo, and Balboa Park, Point Loma, Coronado Island, etc. The house itself was a great home base! Art (including many of her own pieces and mosaics)adorns the walls. There was plenty of comfortable seating for all 5 of us, and the beds and rooms were also excellent. Loved that windows opened and we could get a nice sea breeze and hear the waves. Big, well-equipped kitchen, private patio, beach gear/chairs/towels all made it easy to relax here. Host was great. Highly recommend this retreat on your visit to San DIego! Can’t wait to return!

Excellent beach getaway!

Amazing nicely decorated property with an incredible view of the beach and the sunset. Great water pressure. Great location walkable to a lot of restaurants, right at the beach, with beach toys and gear available to use. Susan the host was very responsive and easy to get a hold of, communicated well. 10/10!

Location, location, location

What a beautiful view from this wonderful house. It was everything described and more. The location was right on Ocean Beach and within walking distance to a variety of stores and restaurants. Everyday was a new experience with the local atmosphere. Unfortunately the pier was closed, but nevertheless couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you Susan for telling us your story and all the great suggested activities and restaurants. Got lots and lots of pictures of the beautiful sunsets!

Location location location!

Can’t beat the location for walkability to the beach or shops/restaurants. 15 min from the zoo. Perfect place to bring the family for a San Diego trip.

I bought this property when we were in our early 30's. I have used it as our primary residence and as a rental for over 40 years. We completed a major remodel in 2007 and since then have continued to make additional improvements each year. I now live here for about 4-5 months in the winter and then in a small town of Nevada City the rest of the year. I love my OB home as do our kids and grandkids who love spending time with me at the beach. Great California beach community!!!

I have owned many homes in Ocean Beach over the last 35+ years. They have all had their own unique qualities but in the end I chose this unit as my favorite because of a combination of view, closeness to the beach and walking distance to restaurants, breweries and shopping in OB.
