Communication is great, condo is very nice and spacious. Tub in master is a little difficult getting in and out of, but because I have short legs, lol. Lots of extras if you need them are available, like towels, pillows, etc. kitchen fully stocked. Not much of a beach view, and the boardwalk is long. Yet, we always drive to the beach anyway, so no biggie. Would stay there again.

Beach getaway

Upon entering the house it smelt a bit musty and stale. The bathroom floors also felt sticky when walking in. Overall though the house was great and we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Beach

Check in was easy, communication was amazing, roaches on the master bedroom wall the moment we walked in, the master bed was terrible to sleep on, the rest of the interiors were nice, kitchen well stocked, the online pictures of the outdoor pool and properties are very misleading.

Good time with family

Pros: -nice unit -spacious -great patio -nice washer/dryer -no issues checking in or using any facilities Cons: -you still need to drive to boardwalk/beach and anywhere to dinner -although the unit was good, the beach club itself is pretty run down -the pool is smaller than it looks and overrun with ants

Check in was a breeze, checkout was a breeze. The drive to the beach access bridge made it very easy to transport kids, supplies, toys, etc.

A nice time at Mustang Island Beach Club

We enjoy this complex and stay in different units every year. This unit was very clean and well equipped. Our only complaint was there wasn’t any salt and pepper in the condo, so we ran down to the grocery store. It’s always hit or miss with what is stocked in the kitchen, but basics like salt and pepper would be nice! We love the proximity to the beach and the covered parking.

Satisfied

The property is newly renovated which was nice. Large patio to chill was great. Close drive to the beach but their own beach access is a very far walk. You can drive to their beach access with your vehicle but there’s only maybe 3 parking? Just go drive to another public beach nearby. There’s a bee hive near one of the stairs but I’m sure it will be taken cared off. I would stay again because of the price and because it is nicely renovated. Yes bring your essentials as what they request from you.

Not clean

We opened the fold out bed and there was crumbs or something on the bed. We washed them right away. The dishes we attempted to use had leftover food in the cabinets. The floors felt dirty when we got there and the whole condo did not appear to be cleaned. Dead roach was on the floor. Something was crawling in the wall each night and throughout the day.

Our stay was okay. The property is very dated as well as the unit we stayed in. It was somewhat clean, however there was an issue with roaches/waterbugs. I reported it to the management company and they promptly sent out pest control to spray. I had inquired about a pest problem after reading reviews before booking. They informed me it was on a monthly pest control schedule, so I booked it. We also had a clogged master sink that was promptly taken care of. Management was very helpful and nice considering our situation. We inquired about an additional day if no more bugs were seen. Everything was good so we stayed an additional day. Needless to say, after confirming our additional night we saw more live bugs the night before we left. There seems to be a big problem with these at this property. We stayed at other property with no issues. I would also advise to wash any dishes before being used because of this. It’s also by the highway which made for loud noise while sleeping .

Nice place with occasional ants

Property was nice and clean. A reasonable walk to the beach. Had a relaxing time and the to-do list upon checkout was reasonable. Prop management was available via text and quite responsive. Things I wish I had known: * Living room TV has a ROKU that is already logged into Netflix (among a small list of others), but the device is protected by a PIN number, so if you want to connect to a channel they don't have on their ROKU, your only option is to bring your own ROKU. * There are BBQ pits on property, but they are the kind you find at city parks and would require a good bit of prep and cleaning to use. * Only one medium trash bag is provided, which we went through in a day. Make sure you bring extra. * There are ants that come into the living room and swarm the couch and loveseat by the window, especially after it rains. There are large visible ant nests at the foot of the stairs in the sand. I would suggest bringing raid ant baits with you.
