Perfect York location. The apartment was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. The location was fabulous for the beach, walking and biking too. I highly recommend this VRBO.

Perfect location

We stayed on Long Sands Beach for a week but I wish it had been longer. I started every morning having my coffee while I walked the beach. There were some nice restaurants close by. In addition, we walked to Fox's near the lighthouse for great lobster. And another night, we walked to Short Sands for ice cream. It is the best of both worlds-- a large quiet family friendly beach with busier places within a mile or so walk.

Weekend at York Beach

Perfect location, clean, well-equipped kitchen, quiet basement apartment. My only recommendation is that the lack of sheets and bathroom towels should be mentioned more prominently in the opening description. We had to make a last minute booking for this property, and didn't get word that we needed to find sheets and towels until 10 am of the first day. Most guests will assume that sheets and towels are provided, as this is the first property we have stayed at that did not provide them. Otherwise, this is an excellent location for any York Beach activities as it is directly across the street from the beach. The basement apartment is very quiet, we didn't get any road noise at all. The kitchen appliances were all as described, and worked perfectly.

Lovely

I really enjoyed this spot. Great low key spot. Love that there was a place around the corner to cover any extra needs… sandwiches and ice cream plus. Surprise Bonfire with a cookout and band for the Holiday was a huge bonus. Hostess was lovely.

Hidden Gem!!!

Had the most amazing beach vacation this week! This was our second time staying at this property, and it was equally as wonderful as the first time we came! The apartment was spotless, decorated beautifully, and had everything we needed for our vacation, not to mention the very best part of being literally 50 steps from the beach!!! Julie, Geoff, and Stephanie all met us when we arrived, making sure we were all set, and met us as we left to say thank you and goodbye….we have already booked our week for next year!! They are all so warm and friendly, it made it seem like we were going to visit family…thank you again!!

Perfect Stay in York

The property was the perfect location for a long weekend in York Beach. The hosts were communicative and friendly and the apartment is exactly as pictured. I’d happily come back for a return trip to York!

Simply The Best

This was our second stay at Julie's rental. Once again the place was perfect. It's right across the street from Long Sands which is ideal. It's so clean and well decorated. The location is quiet despite being on a busy road. We enjoyed sitting out at the small table on the patio playing board games. It was the perfect way to end a beach day. It has a full kitchen that allows you to bring groceries and cook in. That's a nice feature especially if you don't want to go out to a restaurant. There are 2 tvs to watch. Both are Smart tvs and ready to use with your streaming accounts. This is great if you have a rainy day or you just want to chill and watch some tv. This is our third year coming to Maine for a girls getaway and this rental is simply the best. We rented a different one the first year and would never, ever, ever go back. Julie knows what renters need and want. Check this rental out, you will not be disappointed.

Great place to stay at York Beach

The rental was perfect for me as it was conveniently located next to the beach and near a good restaurant and also a grocery. The bed was comfortable, the rooms seem recently remodeled, it had every amenity that I had need of. It’s a great choice for a couples getaway, or in my case, a personal retreat.

Perfect place for two

Plenty of space for two adults. Directly across from the beach in a great location. Mattress was average and not uncomfortable. Great water pressure. Beautiful back yard with a covered area to sit/grill.

Great week at Julie’s place in York Beach!

Julie has a fabulous little apartment in our favorite place, York Beach, Maine. The space was perfect for my husband and me, with plenty of room to stretch out, comfortable bedroom, spacious modern kitchen, plenty of necessary paper products for our one week stay. The beach has easy access by walking up the path on the side of the house onto the front sidewalk with the beach right across the street. Julie was quickly responsive to any inquiries we made. Weather was perfect and we had a great week! We hope to be back.

Perfect Week!!

We had an amazing week staying at this house!! It was not even a 5 minute walk to the beach ( where we spent all day everyday!), literally right across the street. It was the perfect size for my husband and myself….everything in the house was immaculate and beautifully kept, there wasn’t anything that we didn’t have there!!The only thing that we would possibly change would be to have a more comfortable bed!! We were sorry that we couldn’t meet Julie in person to thank her for the amazing week that we had, and we definitely hope to be able to stay there again!! Thank you Julie!!!!!!!

A Week in Paradise!

Perfect getaway!

Julie and Jeff are perfect hosts! The rental was immaculate and had everything we needed for the perfect getaway!!! We kept the bedroom window open a bit at night and we could hear the ocean waves. It made for easy, peaceful sleeping. Check in & out was seamless.

Perfect Place To Stay

I wish I could leave more stars. This place is pure perfection! You are right at the beach with a short walk across the street. The property was spotless and the minute you walk in you feel at home. It's very inviting. I am looking forward to staying here again. Julie is a superstar host.
