Vårt hem i Marathon på MM51, ligger i en tropisk miljö på den öppna viken omgiven av grönskande palmer. Marathon är hem för världsklass fiske och dykning. Vårt hem har en 50 "halka och 60 'av dockning ut framför för att rymma de flesta storlek båtar.

Det är vackert laminatgolv thru ut övervåningen vardagsrum.
Vi har ett nyrenoverat 23x10 fot kök med granit toppar mynnar i ett stort rum med panoramautsikt över bukten.

Det stora sovrummet har en kung säng med en vy och en trevlig bris av vattnet. Det stora sovrummet har en TV med ett bad som är uppdatering med duschkabin. Den andra och tredje sovrummet har vardera queen sängar med uppdaterad badrum.

Det finns gott om plats att koppla av eller roa nere med flera sittgrupper, matsal, bar, TV med badrum och är helt avskärmade.

Nice vacation spot

Overall we had a very pleasant stay. We very much enjoyed the water scenery from the back deck. The house was very nice, with many updates. We did have an issue with a leak under the kitchen sink. Host was contacted and it was fixed the next day. The only complaint was the sewage smell from the sea grass in the boat slip.

The home had a great residential location on Marathon. Great, fenced yard for dog. Immediate Gulf Access. Dusty inside, rusty outdoor furniture, kitchen supplies not clean/miss-matched, difficult to get a hold of owner for check-in anoutdoor

Great stay in Marathon

This home is located right on the gulf. We enjoyed the view, and especially the manatees that visited. The kitchen is well stocked. Beds are comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet. We walked our dog and always felt safe. Met some nice neighbors. The hosts are easy to work with. We will rent again, and would recommend this home to friends and family.

Perfect

This house was perfect. The house was tastefully decorated with all the amenities. The Downstairs screened area was perfect for Dive and fishing gear. Bait freezer, water hoses were strategically placed. Boat launch was 3 minutes from the house. Awesome host.

Great place to relax

We loved the house! The noise from the planes overhead is a little loud sometimes (not at night), but otherwise, very relaxing. Right on the water and the view is spectacular. The beds and other furniture are very comfortable. The inside is very up to date. The owners are quick with communication. We would stay again. 5/5

Overall good experience. House was well equipped and back yard was set up quite well. Only negative is the amount of debris in the boat slip which is obviously out of the homeowners control.

Beautiful property!

We loved staying here! The house was spotless and well stocked. Manatees came to visit and we spotted somes dolphins. Couldn't have asked for a better experience... the owner called us to make sure all was well. They also responded to emails right away and were very pleasant and accessible. Thanks for a lovely Keys vacation:)

Marathon home

The homes location is great. The weather was cold and windy during our stay so we were unable to enjoy the outdoor areas as much as we would like to have. Manatees came right up to the seawallbehind the house which was really cool.

Water front

I have stayed here twice with my family. The boat slip is great. We rented a boat and witnessed the most beautiful sunsets. Three bedrooms upstairs. There is a screened area downstairs with fans. It’s very pleasant. I will probably stay here again.

Couldn’t have been better!

We rented this home for our family/friend trip to the keys. The home was perfect. We had great communication with the owner, who was quick to offer any help needed. We found the property to be located very conveniently, close to several restaurants and not far from Publix. The amenities were excellent, WiFi was fast, kitchen was very well stocked. The boat slip was well maintained and has water and power at the dock, which faces the flats, making for better wave protection than the homes that face the reef. We enjoyed our time here and look forward to renting this property for our next trip!

Not happy

The property is very comfortable but the cleaning part is like they didn’t even cleaned it full of dog hairs the vacuum is broken they left a lil garbage bad n front of the door and a dirty white cooler on the back the door handles were loose we fixed it I don’t have enough space to write everything wrong with it the property it self is beautiful but it needs more cleaning literally deep cleaning that’s what I do for a leaving and if I would had left a property just half as dirty as that property I would had been fire on the spot

SO GLAD TO BE BACK!!!

After two missed years (thanks COVID!) we finally made it back to Marathon and our lovely rental. This was the sixth time we've stayed at this beautiful house. The updates in the bedrooms and bathrooms, the new appliances, the waterfront, everything was perfect. It was the most relaxing week we've had in a long, long time. We will definitely return next year.

Not all is as it seems

From all the high reviews I thought that this property would be a lot nicer than it was. When we checked in we had an initial problem. In one of the bedrooms the window would not close so the room was hot, the AC vent was sweating, and it was loud from outdoor noise. I called the owner and he said he would have someone out Monday (did not take care of problem right away). I told the owner I would get a garbage bag and duct tape at the Publix and seal it up. He offered no reimbursement for me doing this. Well that night there was a loud party a few houses down and no one could sleep in that room. My 85 year old Mom ended sleeping on the couch. Monday comes by and I text owner at 10:00 when is someone coming by to fix the window. No answer. At 2:30 I call….no answer. Around 3:30 I finally hear from the owner and he says he will try and get someone out. You have to hound this owner because he is slow to respond (another review said the same thing with a dryer issue). He seemed to try and dodge the situation. Finally two nice guys came over and fixed the window. Overall I think this owner is cheap, non-responsive, and the property was nowhere as nice as the pictures. I stay at a lot of VRBO’s and this was the worst experience for me.

The view is excellent . Kitchen had everything a person needs. Charcoal grill needs a little attention. We would recommend this property very highly

My husband and I grew up in Florida. We both love being around water. As our family grew we found Marathon to be the perfect place to vacation with the kids. We would always look forward to boating, fishing, and snorkeling around the reefs in the Keys.

Our vacation home is centrally located in the Florida Keys. World class fishing and diving. Marathon has an airport and hospital. Plenty of fine restaurants with fresh seafood and tropical open air bars.
