Beautifully updated home with large deck with forest view.Great for Grilling or enjoying your morning coffee. Tons of space with a fully equipped stainless steel kitchen.
Double oven, Full size double door frig,microwave,dishwasher and breakfast bar .Full dining room and living room. New bar room directly off deck and kitchen. Bedroom has a new queen bed, nice view of deck. This location is a hikers dream. It's mins from Letchworth and Stoney Brook State parks. Both are amazing! Look into hot air ballooning, river rafting and horse backridng.There's nice resturants right in town. Sking at Swain is great and a short drive. Green way trails are in walking distance. They offer miles of snowmoblie/ biking/walking paths.
Geneseo is also minutes away with many resturants and live music. Finger lakes wine and brew crafter trails are international known. Spilt level/ second apartment down stairs. If you need more space or sleep space please contact us. Happy to accommodate. Events welcome if pre-approved. Wonderful space for family/friend get togethers. 1 pet 🐶 is welcome a 100 dollar fee is collected at check-in and $30 is returned at check out with no damage by fur family member. A major rug and and window/furniture treatment/cleanse of home must be done due to others with allergies. please understand these fees.

Great accommodations

The house was very nice. Bed very comfortable. Clean and well kept. Nice neighborhood and literally less than 5 minutes to the letchworth park. There was a lot of literature as well about the whole area. We have stayed in many vrbos from ny to key west to Tennessee and beyond, this one did not disappoint at all. Would recommend anyone to stay there. The host was great as well. That is huge!!!

Quiet neighborhood...clean

Over all a good rental. I would suggest that the owner remove personal effects especially from drawers and cabinets. Also over whelming smell from incense sticks which we placed away from main area.

Weekend stay

Property was not in good condition. Dead plants in the house. Kitchen garbage can had not been emptied. Food scraps on the bedroom floor. Either dried blood or red paint on the bed sheets...lets hope it was paint. Broken drawer in kitchen. I could go on.

Comfortable and Pet Friendly

The property had everything we needed and was close to Geneseo where friends of ours live. Especially grateful that we could bring our senior dog. We highly recommend the Ring of Fire on Conesus Lake. We also enjoyed hiking at Stony Brook State Park, kayaking on Hemlock Lake, and breakfast at The Barn. It was a great place to celebrate the 4th. Hope to return and spend more time.

Overall we liked the house and the amenities of the kitchen. The back deck looked so inviting but unfortunately our weather didnot cooperate. The way the blow dryer was hung in the bathroom was not great and needs improvement. The strong incense in the living and bedroom was a little overpowering and I felt we were at grandma’s house. I also wish there had been more instruction on the tv bc we could not figure out how to get local television channels. The location was close to the Letchworth Park and we enjoyed driving to Watkins Glen and wineries.

Beautiful quiet house and neighborhood

My husband and I loved the house! Beautiful quiet scenery outback on the deck while we enjoyed our coffee in the morning. It was very clean. We will definitely be staying there again when we stay out that way! Communication with Daisie was fast and she was so nice. She allowed us to check out at a later time although we were up early and wanted to go hiking early before the rain came, we left on time. Everything was amazing!!

Hilltop Hideaway

Nestled among the hills close to Rochester, this lovely house artfully combines the modern with the traditional. The back porch is a great place for relaxing and the main part of the house wraps around it as an open space. The quaint center of town is a 10-15 minute walk away, but be in mind of the steep hill walking back. There was no house book that I could see and so I never did figure out how to access the wifi. But I was only there for a night, so all good.

Quiet neighborhood, lots of singing birds

Lovely host gifts upon arrival! Cozy shaded back porch with a chorus of birdsong. Convenient and quiet neighborhood. A proper door should be installed between the kitchen and the garage. When the property owners were in the garage, it sounded and felt like they were right there in the room with us. Also, a list of house rules and instructions (wifi, trash, linens, etc.) should be printed and posted for guests. This is fairly common for VRBO rentals, but was absent here. Once we were able to connect with the host all issues were resolved. Thank you!

Lovely host, but won't be returning

Short Summary: Host Daisie was super hospitable, and the residence was sparkling clean, nicely decorated, and well-stocked with towels and TP. We very much enjoyed the porch and remodeled kitchen. However, the unit was dark and lacked sufficient lighting, residence did not feel private, adjoining garage was in use, some repairs were needed, and there was a lingering smoke odor. Pros vs Cons: Pros: Extremely clean Modern kitchen, nice décor, beautiful porch Super friendly owner Plenty of info on local attractions in the unit Quiet neighborhood minutes from Letchwood State Park Pet friendly! Cons: Dark interior/lack of lamps that provided sufficient light Smoke smell despite use of artificial fragrance from automatic dispenser – I’m allergic to both Occupied driveway and downstairs unit were not disclosed on listing Safety: Attached garage was in use, there was a large gap under the door to our unit, and the door could not be locked from our side, which made us feel vulnberable Privacy: Owner’s in-person greeting and unprompted messages felt invasive Screen door, toilet chain, and TP holder need repair Sheets were worn, pillows seemed very old Front step is very high and a trip hazard No info on Wi-Fi code, trash/recycling information, and check-out procedures was left for guests

Relaxing weekend getaway

We were looking for a pet friendly home close to Letchworth Park and Rochester and this home fit the bill. It was in a nice neighborhood and was equipped with all we needed. The owner was very helpful.
