Gorgeous guest house! Perfect for a small family or 2 couples. Just me and hubby this trip and we found clean, well-stocked kitchen and quiet, sweet guest house. Location was great- near to the bay. Thanks for an amazing experience!

This is a charming home in the heart of Seaside. It is very quiet and we enjoyed having the extra space. We had an issue with the entry keypad in the middle of our stay but Chuck and Mary quickly resolved the issue and got us back in the home. They were very quick to respond each time I reached out. Something to note that I did not pay attention to. This home (probably like most others) does not have HVAC so the air can feel stale. We did use the fire place each morning as it was pretty chilly. It is comfortable during the day and you can open the windows to get some air flow. I think this is the norm for the area. Like everyone else has said, the master bed is VERY comfortable! We did not use the outdoor space during our stay. I do think the outdoor area needs a little cleaning. There are cob webs and it just feels like no one has been there even though I know they have a gardener and a cleaning crew who keeps the home ready for guests. Location is close to a few local restaurants but driving is required. Nothing is walkable nor would you want to walk. The homes are very dense in the area and almost everyone parks their cars on the street. This made parking a bit tricky on this one way street because we had to back into the driveway for ease of getting out when leaving.

Extremely happy to have found this home to spend the weekend with my father and nephews, much gratitude goes to the owners for the aquarium passes. We had a great time at the house and at the aquarium, we were lucky enough to catch the sunset on the beach the day we arrived, just a few minutes drive to coast the sand, and plenty of shopping/supermarkets available to grab last minute items. Would love to book this Home again on our next adventure to Monterey.

This is a pleasant place in a nice, quiet area. It was exactly what we needed, close to aquarium, Carmel, and day trip to Big Sur. It had everything we needed, easy check-in, and very comfortable. No complaints!

Excellent location and beautiful home

The home is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and cozy. Unexpected perks included a warm electric fireplace and easily accessible laundry. Check in was a breeze and communication with the host was easy!

Beach Getaway

The cottage was super cute and quiet. We did lose power from 3AM- 12PM one day. Not hosts fault, but it would have been nice to have some flashlights available. Use of the Aquarium passes was a definite perk. Grateful. Maybe some placemats for the glass dining table. A little nervous we might break it. Overall, a great place to stay. We would return. Thank you for the generous use of your home.

Great Wedding Weekend Stay

I booked this place for me and my husband’s stay for our wedding in Carmel and we had a spectacular time! It is small but feels very spacious and open. My bridal party came over to do our floral arrangements and we have the sweetest memories of putting together flowers on the front patio table under the shade. I cannot recommend this enough! I will definitely come back for these sweet memories as we continue to celebrate our wedding anniversaries to come. Also the aquarium passes were such a kind thought! I spoke a few times with the host and he was great and so kind. Thanks again!!

Lovely little Casita

Great for 4 adults or a family with children. We managed the one shower with 6 adults, which I wasn't sure we could do (but the 1/2 bath helped), but the sofa bed is just a full size, so recommend either one adult or 2 kids. It was a bit snug for our two adults. Patio was nice if the weather is good. Only 4 chairs to the kitchen table, so be aware if you're traveling with more than 4. Home was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the free aquarium passes.
