Very comfortable home. Fully stocked , Felt very safe in this neighborhood. We arrived 2 hours before check in and they were gracious enough to allow us entry which we greatly appreciated. Will definitely return!

Everything was as expected, normal experience. Its like they did the short term rental playbook, very generic interior, which was nice but not 450/night nice. Staying here made me rethink my life choices of spending this kind of money for this kind of place. Everything with the host was fine, checkin was fine and smooth. Airport is close by but you dont really hear it.

The property is in a good location and is a nice space. It's convenient to all the places in Monterey area and is close to the airport. The main issue is the bathroom, where the bathtub has a few ugly rust patches that I thought were poop at first. The bathroom also had a weird smell about it. I had to Lysol the whole thing just to make sure it was clean. Once we got past that, the place was great - 3 bedrooms, nice living room and a great outdoor space. The kitchen is nice and has everything one needs. So overall the stay was enjoyable and I would recommend it, just be aware of the bathtub issue. The owner might want to do something to fix it as well, not sure if they are aware.

The property was VERY clean, and we even thanked the cleaning person when we left. It's super close (very walkable- a block and a half) to a great park. The negatives: the backyard doesn't have the fire pit as shown in listing, the dryer was having issues with the hose not being attached to the wall, the instruction sheets conflicted on if we needed to take the garbage to the street and if we had to strip beds (we did). Overall decent place, lovely neighborhood, great location in Seaside.

There were some pros and cons to our stay here. Pros: Seamless check in process, perfect size for our family of 4 plus 1 friend, great/safe neighborhood, convenient location to get to a lot of spots, walking distance to a park. Cons: the pictures are quite outdated on the listing, the backyard is overgrown and looks like it hasn’t been cared for in a long time, the cleaning crew did a pretty poor job (ie a used diaper in one of the bedrooms, hair in the bathroom/tub), the bathtub had mildew in the grout (which probably would have come off if it were actually cleaned). Despite the cons, it was a nice place to stay for our trip to the area and would consider it again if the backyard was in better shape.

We would use this location again! Our comments are just feedback to the owners and suggestions to prospective visitors.Pros:- The layout and appliances were exactly as described. It is a great house for a 6-person family to share, especially if you have younger kids. Our group had 5 adults use it comfortably.- Location was close to Safeway for grocery trips.- Dish soap, laundry soap, and basic bathroom products were provided. Towels were provided. A few coffee pods and tea packets were provided.- Neighborhood was a calm, quiet location.- Hot water was super fast to receive at all the spigots/outlets.- Great location for visiting the Monterey Aquarium, coastal trails, pine forest hiking, shopping, visiting farm stands, etc.Cons:- The backyard planter boxes had not been used for more than a year, so it was disappointing when compared to the photos. The only thing growing was a grape and a voluntary wild CA cucumber vine.- The BBQ grill would not heat up past 212 degrees Fahrenheit.- The dishwasher was missing all the track wheels for the bottom rack, which led to a lot of finagling when loading the machine and prepping the wash cycle.- The shower was a bit strange in that the head was super high to reach (our 5’1” member could not reach it, so be aware of this detail if you are petite sized). The bath tub filler control knob was stuck on the shower head diverter the whole time. The spray protector along the side wall was loose and hanging in place by sheer will.

The house worked very well for our family and pretty much met all of our needs. The location was great and convenient. And had a nice view! The only improvements I recommended were to fix the back fence as it is falling over by the playground, the bath tub plug doesn’t work so we weren’t able to give the children a bath, the beds were extremely soft and uncomfortable and the packnplay was very old and dirty and needs to be replaced.

Monterey/seaside visit

Really great house for our family visit. Perfect size, clean and comfortable. Checkin - I’ve rented several VRBO before, by far the most complicated to get the information, but it did work out and the company did respond to email.

Great Stay near Monterey

The property was very clean and in a very quiet neighborhood. There was a playground in the backyard that my 5 and 4 year old loved. Less than a 10 minute drive to Cannery Row. We will be looking to stay here again in the future.

This place was everything I was told it was. We didn't get to spend a loot of time there but all of the amenities were clean and updated and just a good experience. I will book again next year

Perfectly Simple, comfortable and Clean

Location was quiet and central to many things. Grocery store is 2 minutes away. House was very clean and well stocked. Bed was super comfortable as was the couches. This place was perfect for our work crew. FYI, they only have a Pod coffee maker, but did provide a refillable Pod.
