Manzanita Beach Charmer!

Mysiga tre sovrum hem, alla på en nivå, med en stor gård och uteplats, perfekt för underhållning utomhus. Vi ligger i hjärtat av vackra Manzanita, bara fem kvarter till vår tre mil långa strand! Två korta kvarter till huvudgatan med restauranger, butiker, bibliotek och kaféer. Vi är också bara två kvarter till en full-line livsmedelsbutik och videobutik. Det finns en 9-håls golfbana bara några minuter från huset samt en tennisbana och en lekplats bara några kvarter bort.

Hemmet är fullt möblerat inklusive alla sängkläder, (utom badhanddukar) ett fullt utrustat kök med köksredskap, grytor, kastruller, mikrovågsugn och kaffebryggare. Kabel-TV och DVD-spelare finns i vardagsrummet.

Det stora sovrummet har dubbelsäng och privat badrum med kaklat dusch och takfönster. Ett andra bad har en badkar / duschkombination. Det andra sovrummet har queen size-säng och det tredje sovrummet en full storlek säng. Vardagsrummet har en drottning bäddsoffa.

My family and I spent five days at this vacation home. Our stay was perfect. The home was well appointed with everything you could need. We cooked many meals and walked into town every day for leisure and shopping. The hosts were very hospitable and quick with communication. We will try to book here again and recommend it.

Quick beach therapy

Thank you for hosting us again. It was the perfect get away. We should have gotten 3 nights instead of 2! One more night of beach and time to enjoy the area. It’s about a 5-7 min walk to the beach, so not super accessible if you’re physically injured/handicapped. However, it’s the perfect home to find time with the family and they’re incredibly helpful with setting up with a service dog!

Nice, cozy place

An older house that's been upgraded on a quiet street near downtown. Well-equipped kitchen, plenty of dinnerware. The TV is a little complicated, but we finally figured it out.

Cheerful House

We had a great time in Manzanita in this house. If the weather is nice, there are chairs out back with a yard. There is enough room for everyone to spread out or hang out together in the dining room or living room. Comfortable beds. Really clean, would stay here again.

Perfect beach getaway

We come to Manzanita every spring break and this was the best place we’ve stayed so far. Very clean and well maintained. The layout was great for our small family and dog. Perfect distance to town and beach- we never had to drive.

Great home in the perfect location

The home had everything we needed including kitchen cookware. Lots of natural light, comfortable beds. A couple minor problems: 1) the entry code to the house had been changed from instructions given; 2) second bath had a clogged drain.

Weekend away

Great house - clean, well equipped kitchen, great location. Walked to beach a few times a day - our dog loved running on the beach. Will be back!

So much dog hair/dirty floors- not cleaned for weeks

There was so much dog hair and cobwebs that there is no way it is cleaned on a weekly basis. The grill was filthy. One broken burner and a broken chair. The toilet was broken when we got there, but the guy did come out and fix that right away. When we complained about how strong the pet smell was and amount of pet hair, they dropped off a vacuum in case we wanted to take care of it ourselves. Did not offer to refund our cleaning fee. We are usually pretty understanding, but when it is that dirty, and they say they did not clean the floors because they didn’t have a vacuum, that doesn’t cut it.

Manzanita reunion

The house was perfect for our stay. Just the right amount of space for adults and a baby. Our family hosted siblings in other rentals for dinner and the backyard comfortably accommodated the early evening BBQ. All we needed at the house was provided. We will be back

Manzanita Beach Charmer

We enjoyed our Manzanita Beach vacation. The home was well stocked and comfortable. We enjoyed our walks through town and the beach was great. Dogs everywhere! Our daughter's pup had a wonderful time. What a cute town center with everything we needed within easy walking distance. Would definitely come back to Manzanita Beach.

Great place to stay

Wonderful house, good location with a short walk to the beach and the main road in Manzanita for entertainment. Kitchen was well stocked with necessities. Comfortable beds and cozy common areas. We really enjoyed our stay. Only complaint is they need to have their cleaning service clean the cobwebs/insects from the skylights and windows. Other than that, it was fantastic.

Cozy Coastal Getaway

We really enjoyed starting our summer vacation with a getaway to Manzanita. This sweet yellow house was a beach charmer and the owners went above and beyond to supply so much ahead of time. We especially loved the short walk to the beach w/ the sand toys from the shed and spending time in the lovely backyard. It was a wonderful place to stay!

We reside in Portland, Oregon and love our beach getaway trips to Manzanita. The house was in tough shape when we purchased it and we did extensive remodeling to make it a comfortable retreat.

Travel is among our favorite hobbies and we frequently book our vacations using VRBO properties. Because we stay in short-term rentals ourselves, we appreciate the the needs of traveler and work hard to provide the amenities that make it a home.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We chose to purchase in Manzanita because it's a short 1 1/2 hrs from Portland, Oregon. It's a great residential beach town with just enough commercial to keep you comfortable, but its missing the crowds found in other coastal locations.. The geography on this part of the coast often shields Manzanita from some of the increment weather of our northern coastal towns. The expansive 7-mile long beach offers families room to spread out.

Manzanita has a laid back atmosphere with friendly local merchants and residents. Our home is ideally located which makes it very walkable to all amenities as well as to the beach. It's also a good take off point to other Oregon coastal activities.
