VÄrt hem Àr en och en halv kvarter frÄn havet med direkt tillgÄng till stranden dÀr du kan promenera den magnifika stranden pÄ sju mil. Vi har ocksÄ utsikt över berget Neahkahnie med utsikt mot norr. GÄ bara tvÀrs över gatan för att börja pÄ den pittoreska golfbanan i Manzanita eller cykla till Nehalem State Park pÄ en av vÄra tvÄ cyklar. Tennis, volleyboll och lekplats ligger bara nÄgra kvarter bort i City Park.

VÄrt kök / stora rum med vÀlvt tak, takfönster och flodbergspisen Àr pÄ övre plan med utsikt mot havet. Det stora rummet Àr omgivet av fönster i full lÀngd för fantastisk utsikt. Koppla av pÄ vÄrt stora dÀck utanför det stora rummet med en bra bok medan du njuter av en fantastisk havsutsikt. Det stora sovrummet (queen size-sÀng) med en stor klÀdkammare har ett privat dÀck och badrum med takfönster. VÄrt ytterligare gÀstbad Àr ocksÄ pÄ övre plan. Den lÀgre nivÄn har tvÄ sovrum (ett med dubbelsÀng, ett med tvÄ sÀngar), badrum och tvÀttstuga.

Vi Àr tio kvarter till huvudgatan i Manzanita dÀr du hittar underbara restauranger, underbara present- och antikbutiker, vinbar, bokhandel, 2 livsmedelsbutiker, kaféer och bageri. UtmÀrkt crabbing i Nehalem Bay Àr bara tre miles away och du Àr vÀlkommen att ta vÄr krabba potten med dig. TyvÀrr tillÄter vi inte husdjur eller rökning.

Fantastic location and views

This is our fourth stay and we love it every time. Great view that allows you to enjoy the ocean even when relaxing at the house. Perfect location from beach, downtown and the local park. We'll be back again!

Very Nice Home. Has it all.

We enjoyed this home for five nights. It is close enough to the beach and very close to the golf course. The place was clean and had a nice kitchen. We also enjoyed the view from the 2nd floor every day.

Home away from home

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home filled with light, art, comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen was a delightful place to cook and the lovely unique serving dishes were a joy to use every day. Savored the ocean views and breeze on the deck. A wonderful peaceful haven with Adirondack chairs and colorful flower pots. Each morning we saw a young deer asleep in the tall grass on the east side of the deck. Walked on the beach and on trails in Nehalem Bay State Park. Quick walk to downtown.Carol is the quintessential host. This place has it all. Hope you’re lucky enough to stay in this Manzanita beach house!

Lovely home met all our needs

Carol has such a lovely home. The location is steps from the beach and the home itself was very comfortable and clean. We especially loved the photo album detailing carols efforts to “save the tree” as well as the home construction timeline. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

Awesome location, perfect for families

This was our third time staying at the property - we keep coming back because it checks all the boxes to accommodate an easy vacation with two young kids (2 and 4). Location is 4 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to the city park and downtown. The deck overlooks the water to enjoy quiet time and drinks after the kids go to sleep. Each room has a big walk in closet perfect for black-out kids sleep. Carol is super responsive and seems to be a very lovely person over email :) Would 100% recommend!

Wonderful week on the coast

The house has a nice deck with flowers and beautiful views. We found the kitchen to be well equipped, and everything easy to find. Check in was easy, communication was great, and notes in strategic locations covered any possible questions. I would absolutely stay at this home again!

Wonderful Home with Beautiful Ocean View

This home is decorated beautifully and equipped with lots of amenities, including games, books, CD player and CDs, ample size kitchen and dining areas, large picture windows, large deck, fresh flowers, plenty of toiletries and paper goods, and much more. We especially enjoyed the beautiful ocean view and the short walk to the beach, which was not crowded at all. We also appreciated that we were close enough to downtown Manzanita to walk there several times rather than driving and parking. This home was in a quiet area and was very comfortable for our stay. I highly recommend it!

Carol's place is warm and inviting. Very clean and comfortable. Wonderful views and the perfect location for walking . Manzanita is one of those sleepier coast towns. Less touristy than Cannon.

Perfect

Our family of 5 stayed for a little under a week. We walked to the beach every day - a short easy walk from the house. We enjoyed meals and family time in the large family room/kitchen overlooking the ocean. The home itself is very inviting and well kept. For families with little kids, the master is upstairs and two other bedrooms are downstairs. We could still hear our youngest when he needed us at night. The kitchen was fully stocked making meals at home easy. We loved our stay - thank you!

Wonderful Retreat

This is the second time we've stayed at this property and we can't wait to come back. The home was really clean and well stocked. Such a relaxing space and close to beach and town. So enjoyed the view, star gazing on the deck and watching the sunsets!

We were fortunate to find this beautiful view lot in 1997 and Hinkhouse Homes built us a wonderful house maximizing the view. Our family had always enjoyed the coast and we couldn't be happier with the house, the views, the location and charming Manzanita.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

A wonderful panoramic view of the Pacific and only a short, flat walk to the ocean. Watch the athletic kite and sail boarders ride the Manzanita surf and enjoy the magnificent sunsets from our deck or living room with floor to ceiling windows.
