The Keylime Retreat is in a quiet, condo building that only has 6 total units and is tucked away from Canal Road behind a private fence. This unit is located on the corner, ground floor and has its own porch overlooking the garden and the pool. With 2-bedrooms and 1-bathroom it comfortably sleeps (6) guests. Everything has been recently updated including a brand new kitchen, bathroom and furnishings! The primary bedroom has a king sized bed. The guest bedroom has a has a twin bed that sleeps (1) and also a bunk bed that is a full size bed on the bottom and a twin size bed on the top so it sleeps (3) in total. Since this condo is a vacation rental it comes fully equipped with everything you will need such as pots, pans, linens, towels including pool/beach towels, and all the beach gear you will want! You are located in the heart of the island, so walk or ride in your golf cart to any of the famous Siesta Key restaurants - Siesta Key Oyster Bar (a local favorite), the Cottage, or Ophelia's on the Bay. You are just around the corner from the Beach Club, which is an island hot spot for dancing and drinks! Or for a more casual dinner and live music check out Daquiri Deck for the best frozen daquiris or The Hub Baja Grill for live music and tacos! If you are looking to enjoy the nightlife and the amenities that a larger city has, you are only 15-20 minutes away from downtown Sarasota, which is known for its upscale dining and art scene. Explore art galleries and museums, wander around Selby Botanical Gardens, enjoy the city skyline at night from two rooftop bars, Art Ovation and the Westin, or just sit outside at many of the open air bars and people watch on Main Street.
