Outdoor lover's dream, Clean, Comfortable, and Well-Equipped

This is the perfect place to stay, especially if you're planning outdoor adventures in the area. Its close to 3 rivers with tons of springs! First, the house itself was extremely clean, down to the inside of the fridge. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need for cooking or baking. The sheets and towels were fresh smelling, fluffy, and soft. The mattresses were very comfortable to sleep on. The window AC units kept the place nice and cold. There was a lot of space for us to spread out, especially if you have a lot of stuff for a week long trip like us. Having a full sized washer and dryer was awesome. Since the house is on stilts, there is this huge concrete pad and space to put gear, your own kayaks, etc underneath the house. We used the hose to clean off our boats and laid out the gear and boats to dry out well. If you have a lot of gear, like we did, you will absolutely love having a clean flat space that is large and not in the dirt to clean and sort everything. The porch was amazing. We loved sitting out there and watching the river. There are no close restaurants or grocery stores within about 25 minutes, but we wanted a remote place and brought everything we ate and drank with us. It was perfect to be so far away from civilization, just make sure to plan ahead. We did, and it was great! Perfect stay!

Relaxing river cabin

The cabins is tidy and spacious with all the conveniences. The views and yard and gorgeous. Secluded and quiet. Enjoyed nearby Royal Springs park and restaurants in Live Oak.

Beautiful Suwannee view

Stayed at this lovely little river house for a weekend while visiting family. Beautiful view of the Suwannee in a quiet, peaceful location. Would happily stay again.

Relaxing Stay on the River

We enjoyed being able to relax with views of the Suwannee river. The property is situated very convenient to state parks where we enjoyed many hikes. It was the perfect getaway for our family—lots of opportunities to connect with each other and nature!

We are Stephenie and Tim and want to welcome you to our little river home. We split our time between Florida and California. Stephenie is a Fitness Trainer, Life Coach and Nutritionist and I am an Emergency Department Registered Nurse. We lead a very healthy and active lifestyle. Our mantra is Faith, Family, Fitness. We hope you have a wonderful visit and enjoy all the area offers, on and off the river.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Our property is relaxing, calm and off the beaten path. It is located in a rural area of North Florida on the famous Suwannee River. It is close to many natural springs with crystal clear water. One of the most well known is Ichetucknee Springs located approx 35 minutes away. Our property has Royal Springs Community Park located half a mile from the house. There is also a very well maintained boat ramp to launch a boat, canoes or kayaks.

Basic House Rules:
We are welcoming you into our home, please treat the space accordingly.
Before you settle in for your stay, please take a few minutes to become more familiar with the house rules of The River House.

General Cleanliness:
Please No Smoking, the owners are allergic to any type tobacco smoke, inside the house or on the deck.
Please tidy up after yourselves. Wash and replace any used kitchen wares, pots, pans, dishes, glasses prior to check out.
Dispose of any trash produced during your stay to the black trash cans outside under the metal carport.

OFF LIMIT AREA:
The house sits on the beautiful Suwannee River and there are general risks associated with all bodies of water. The river bank to our property is approximately 15 to 20 feet from the water and creates a risk to adults and children alike. Please do not venture to the edge, you could get hurt if you fall. The hot tub is non-operational and the kayaks are not for guest use.

Neighborhood and Noise:
The majority of our neighbors in the Royal Springs area are full time residences. It is a quiet little community, please minimize noise between the hours of 9pm and 8am.

No Parties or events are allowed.
Any small gatherings are limited to registered renters, four additional visitors and must comply with the rules regarding noise levels.
A maximum of four visitors are allowed during the day but only registered renters are allowed to stay overnight. It is the responsibility of the renter to ensure any visitors also comply with house rules.

Grill Use:
The grill is available for our guests to use.
Only adults are allowed to use grill and one must be present outside when grill is in operation.
Please clean the grate after use with brush hanging on grill.
Turn off gas after use.
