The Bear Cave log Cabin is secluded with a hiking trail connecting to North Point County Park that leads to the beach. The Van Buren State Park beach/campground access is 0.5 miles away. The Fields General Store is right next door. The Cabin is located 3 miles from the city of South Haven. Relax on the screened porch, around the fire pit, hiking to the beach, or simply inside enjoying the log home. We cannot wait to share our home with you! 3rd room listed was not really a room - just a loft with a pull out bed. Worked for our 7 person party. Hosts set up the fire pit for us, which was great!

Great Cabin in the Woods

We loved our winter stay in this cute, cozy cabin. Everything was clean and comfortable and the host checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, which we did. There was ample room for our family of 4, were able to hike in Van Buren State Park and along Lake Michigan from the cabin and were still minutes from town to go in for dinner. We were looking for a cabin in the woods with snow, and this delivered. We will be back to this cabin in the summer or fall to experience different scenery!

A little peace & Quite

The stay was wonderful. I really wish were able to stay more then one night (had to get back home to the kids). The bubble bath was heaven lol. I hope we are able to make another trip to South Haven soon.

Perfect!!!

This property is such a sweet, homey, place. It was SO clean!!! Kudos to whoever cleans it. We only stayed one night but it met all our needs. We will definitely be coming back for more of this beautiful place.

High school friends reunion

Needed a campsite for one evening somewhere near the Kal Haven Trail. this place fit the bill perfectly. Excellent bathroom facilities and the Kal Haven Trail is right there.

Beautiful Cabin

We stayed for 1 nite only, everything was right, clean place, good ubication, kitchen with everything we could need. Precious place! The only concern was the odor of the water, smell weird.

As nice as listed. Many little details included.

We enjoyed this cabin over the Memorial Day weekend. It had everything we needed to grill, have a fire, and enjoy nature. Hosts responded quickly to messages and thought of many little details to help make the stay comfortable. We enjoyed watching movies, sitting on the screened in porch, and having lunch on the patio. We also enjoyed the board games and made use of many of the kitchen items.

Wonderful!

Wonderful quiet spot to get away. We had our annual girlfriend getaway and this was perfect! I wish we had more time to stay and enjoy the area. The cabin was very clean and comfortable in a beautiful location. I am going to try and come back in the fall. I bet the colors are amazing!

Family fun at Bear Cave

Bunk beds on the first floor was great for our younger children.Having a washer/dryer was very helpful staying with young kids. We enjoyed all the bear decorations! It’s a great log cabin to stay at in the woods but close to all the attractions! We would love to come back and stay in the future. Husband & kids loved the fire pit and the outdoor experience.

Cute space, great location

This is a great property located within walking distance to a great trail with a great view of the lake. The cabin itself is quaint but has a nice charm to it. The place was very clean. There were a few quirks with the place but that's to be expected, and nothing that drastically affected our stay.

I have stayed at a few places in this part of Michigan and this was definitely the best so far. Very thoughtful items are provided for the most comfortable stay. High quality cook wear, dishes, glass wear, flat wear, utensils and linens. I won't spoil the other things I was impressed with. I travel with fans so I can sleep. Left them in the car. Well done...
