Denna vackra 153 tunnland vita inhägnad lakefront ranch vilar på Lake Earl, den största sötvattenlagunen i Kalifornien. Det består av 90 hektar vilda djurlivsområde och 60 hektar betesmark, redwood timmerland och bäckar.
Sandra Bullock stannade här i en månad när hon filmade filmen "Bird Box" på Smith River.

Detta är en av de vackraste fastigheterna i del Norte län. Varje kväll på däck är en solnedgång som ingen annan och tittar på ankor, gäss, ägretthäger, blå hägrar och hjortar i trädgården, silhuett av solnedgången. Sitt i badtunnan med din favoritdrink, dina favoritfolk och koppla av, binda och centrera dig själv igen! Det finns otaliga stigar på stranden och i redwoods till ridning. Vi är också beredda att vara värd för ditt bröllop och mottagning eller familjeåterförening. Vi har 14 runda bord med tre fot i diameter och 100 stolar tillgängliga med 4500 kvadratmeter bostadsyta och 2000 kvadratmeter däck.

När du kommer in i hemmet hälsas du med modern och bekväm elegans. Det stora rummet har två unika kontaktpunkter. I ena änden finns en tvåsidig, genomskinlig öppen spis med underbara "landsfallsstenar". I den andra änden är ett fantastiskt konstverk, en 9 "X 4" redwood timmer motorsåg snidning av "The Last Supper". Befälhavaren sviten är rymlig, med en king size Tempurpedic släde säng, 52 'HD-TV, ved och gassten spis, och enorma master bad med bubbelbadkar och en stor hörn marmor dusch med stensten golv och två duschhuvuden. Solrummet har en vacker gasspis i ena änden, en vägg med fönster mot sjön i väster och en 52 'HD-TV med blåstrålspelare och HD-satellit. Alla sovrum har Sealy Posturepedic madrasser och antika slädbäddar. Den fristående studion har eget badrum och pentry.

Njut av skönheten och den fridfulla lugnet i denna en-av-en-typ lakefront gård. Lyssna på naturens ljud, grodorna på det 2 tunnland stora dammet och ugglorna på natten. Se det rika vilda djur och får och nötkreatur betar. Samla färska ägg till frukost från kycklingstallen i ladan. Vandra genom redwoods och längs bäcken som rinner genom träden. Gå längs Kellog Beach 2 mil längs landsvägen och flyga en drake eller strandkammare för skal, drivved och andra skatter. Lämna ett avslappnat sinnestillstånd.

Our family loved this place! It’s very conveniently located to many places like the coast, the redwoods, and dining/shopping. It’s very comfortable and roomy. It’s also a very private location that makes you feel relaxed the minute you arrive. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We hope to stay there again in the future.

Amazing experience

We embarked on a redwood adventure with my son and niece. The property and home were exactly what we needed—beautiful and relaxing. Beautiful location with lots of amenities.

My family stayed here and loved it. It's very spacious, with a gorgeous yard and walk down to a pond. There were some mild inconveniences with the front gate having difficulty opening or getting stuck open, but nothing that serious. The hot tub and deck are amazing, and the pantry was stocked with baking and spice essentials.

Summer Coolness

Great location to start and end each day of our Redwoods and coastline adventures. Weather was fantastic, the majesty of God’s creation was on full display and the comforts of home were at our fingertips. We thoroughly enjoyed the property, plants, trees and flowers. Breathtaking! I was content to stay at the property but we went out did stuff :) The beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept in, the "sun room" over the back of the house was so nice. My husband and I loved curling up and watching Dateline or 20/20 at night :) Oh yeah, and we had fresh eggs :)

My kids loved the animals. Maverick the sheep herder dog is so sweet. The master suite is ridiculous. Huge. I agree with other reviews that said the pictures don’t do the place justice. It’s a beautiful base to explore the area.

Wonderful place for a retreat

I hosted a small women's retreat, and the location was ideal. The house is large and spacious, providing plenty of open living areas that comfortably accommodated our group of 8 adults and 4 youth. Most of our needs were met by the house's amenities, including parking, bedrooms, bathrooms, essential pantry items, cookware, appliances, towels, and blankets. The property is both spacious and absolutely beautiful. We highly recommend this location and plan to book here again in the future.

We have lived in the Crescent City area for 40 years, and own All Creatures Animal Hospital & Bird Clinic. We have raised 6 wonderful children here and believe this to be one of the most beautiful places on earth. We lead a very busy life filled with faith, family, work, and community involvement, and understand the need for peace and total relaxation to renew the soul.

Varför värden valde detta boende

The Lakefront Ranch is a property we have admired in our daily drive from Fort Dick to Crescent City for 30 years. Our daughter-in-law and her mom would pull into the ranch driveway just to sit and watch the sunsets for many years. The property is a working ranch with a huge barn, remodeled with chandeliers and antiques as a wedding venue, improved pastures, and corrals. We raise sheep and a few head of angus cattle. The chickens in the barn provide daily fresh eggs. The pond is reported to harbor prize cutthroat trout and lots of waterfowl and wildlife. When we purchased the property the house was gutted and at the beginning of a complete remodel. We saw tremendous possibilities, and jumped at the chance. The result is astounding, and will be beyond your expectations; comfortable, elegant and totally relaxing.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

As you turn off Lower Lake Road onto the alder lined 1/4 mile drive, you will breath a sigh of relaxation. If it's dusk, you will race to get the best sunset view. At other times you drive slowly, and talk to the sheep and cows grazing nearby. Entering the home you are greeted with modern, comfortable elegance. The living room has 2 unique focal points. At one end is a see-through fireplace with gorgeous 'country rubble' stone work. The other end is a 9' X 4' redwood log chain saw carving of 'the Last Supper'. The master suite is spacious, with a 52' HD TV, wood and gas fireplace, and huge master bath with jetted tub and 2 headed marble shower with stone floor. The detached studio has it's own bath and kitchenette.
