Very comfortable stay

Thank you for your space! We were two couples in the city for a long weekend of activity and sightseeing. It was convenient (we used Uber to get around) and in a very quiet neighborhood and had everything we needed.

The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. We had a person with us that broke both feet 3 weeks before we were there.

Perfect Spot!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Fort Hill Inn. Our apartment was perfect for our family of four. The convenience of the Roxbury Crossing T stop was wonderful. We walked to Milkweed one evening and enjoyed a delicious dinner. Another night we enjoyed walking to JP Licks! Terrence and Mindy are great hosts. Very attentive!

Great location

Overall we had a great experience. There was a bit of an odor in the kitchen. Could not pinpoint it. Regardless, it was a comfortable stay. The binder had helpful suggestions for getting around town and clear parking directions. Terry was very responsive!

Great location, short walk to the orange line. The host had great communication with us and let us do a late check out which we really appreciate. Cute place, it was nice to have a table that sits up to 6 people for meals and games. The downfall we had was this property listed two bedrooms with a queen bed in each one with a queen sized sofa sleeper and a double futon sleeper in the common area. We had 6 people - 2 couples and 2 single adults. We were short one bed, which was the double futon sleeper that was not there as described in their listings. Due to that, one single adult had to sleep on the floor for a week which was not ideal. They need to edit their listing to take out the double futon sleeper. I asked him about it but his reply was - Just sleeping arrangements included in the listing. Very frustrating. The two queen beds were really soft if you like soft beds. The sofa sleeper needs to be fixed, it was slanted on one side and one corner which made it uncomfortable to sleep. I felt that we overpaid due to the sleeping arrangement problems. we chose this place for the location and to have a bed for everyone which fell short. We paid a hefty price for these two reasons. I hope to get a partial refund.

Thank you for the detailed feedback! We are always looking for ways to improve, and guest comments certainly help us get there. We are very sorry for the miscommunication regarding the "extra bed," but to clarify, that bed has never actually existed in our listing. We have never advertised a double futon. VRBO continuously upgrades and modifies its platform, and it appears they randomly automated and added that layout detail to our listing page without our input. If you look closely at our explicit written description, we clearly list exactly two queen beds and one queen sleeper sofa. Our photo gallery also accurately mirrors these three specific sleeping areas. Yes, our listing absolutely accommodates 6 people! However, accommodating 6 guests does not mean providing 6 separate beds. We operate under the standard hospitality assumption that guests in a large group are comfortable sharing beds. We are truly sorry that sleeping two to a bed did not work out for your party. As for the mattresses, we invest in highly rated mattresses that tend to lean a bit more plush, which we realize may not be everyone’s personal preference. The sleeper sofa features a top-tier Air Dream mattress system that inflates precisely to a guest's desired firmness. Had you let us know it felt uneven or needed an adjustment during your week-long stay rather than just asking about a futon, we would have been more than happy to help. We are always available to assist our guests in real-time!
