We're so happy to say that the carpet is now all new, the water heater has been fully replaced, and the hot water issues have all been remedied!

We greatly appreciate you staying with us, and for your patience resolving the issues you encountered. The hot water heater had a flipped breaker fairly recently just as you had encountered at the start of your stay. With the tropical storms and many thunderstorms we have received this summer, the lightning strikes have caused a lot of issues with electronics including some breaker trips. When we discovered, together, that the breaker had flipped then you would have had hot water fairly quickly, however we didn't want to settle on this so we sent a plumber to change out both heating elements for you. We do apologize about the broken chair on the balcony. This wasn't known by our staff but we're happy to replace any broken items quickly for safety and convenience to our guests! As for the dirty exterior patio, it is very challenging to keep these areas absolutely clean when we're experiencing so much rain and windy weather as we have had this summer. We have the carpet professionally cleaned anytime we see an issue, however the property owner is having the carpet totally replaced very soon. We greatly appreciate all feedback!

Thank you for the kind words on the property! Water clarity on all beaches will vary based on storms, wind, and tides. We're very sorry the ocean clarity wasn't up to satisfaction during your stay. The pandemic has caused significant shortages in staffing which has affected local business operations–including the restaurants. However, there are so many incredible restaurants to enjoy across Cape San Blas, Port St. Joe, Apalachicola, and Mexico Beach! We're always available to assist our guests if they have questions on preferred restaurants. Just give us a call!
