Though you’ll feel a world away from it all, it’s less than five miles to several restaurants and two championship golf courses. Hiking, mountain biking, and water sports at Lake Lure are all nearby, and it’s just a short drive to Chimney Rock, Asheville, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

At home, you’ll have three luxurious levels to spread out on. The main level’s wraparound deck offers the perfect perch for morning coffee or evening cocktails, surrounded by the trees and sounds of nature. Inside, you’ll find natural-wood floors, vaulted ceilings, pine paneling, an open layout, and a cozy gas fireplace to complete the cabin vibe. The open-concept kitchen features granite countertops and new stainless steel appliances, and there’s plenty of room for family meals at the large dining table.

After a day of adventures, snuggle up in front of the gas fireplace in the great room to unwind. Evening entertainment options include four streaming-capable TVs, cable, and a bumper pool table in the living area downstairs, where you’ll find another fireplace and a window-front table perfect for a game of cards. Remote workers will appreciate the free WiFi and workstation in the upstairs primary bedroom. But the best way to spend the evening is outside, roasting marshmallows around the firepit and planning the next perfect Carolina mountain day tomorrow.

Beautiful home

Our family loved getting together for Thanksgiving at this lovely home. Everything we needed was available to cook our dinner & plenty of room for us to spread out. The house is beautiful & you can tell someone loves this house. My mother is 85 years old & loved all the needle point pictures throughout the home. We felt very at home & comfortable. Vacasa called & asked if we needed anything & if the house was clean enough. It was perfect! If there was a negative, it would be that the WiFi wasn’t strong enough for an Xbox. It was told in the description of the property that Cell phone & WiFi could be that way in the mountains. We still had a great time.

Not what we expected

Issues from day one and the Vasaca team was no help. The main issue was thousands of lady bugs that got into the house. Everyday I would clean up dead and live lady bugs and everyday more would get into the house. No one wants to stay in a house full of bugs especially when we have small children staying there too! Would never stay there again!
