- Once a week, one of our team members will stop by the property to put out the trash cans, replenish our supplies, and/or restock sheets and towels. They will NOT enter the home. They have access to the garage or shed with a code. This day may or may not fall during your stay.

You have access to every area of the home. If there is any kind of mechanical issue with the home please reach out to us first barring any kind of emergency.

Mist drifts through the evergreens as you sip coffee on the deck, watching the first light hit distant peaks. Evenings invite you outside again, this time to the glow of the fire pit or the soothing warmth of the hot tub under a sky full of stars. Inside, wood finishes and vaulted ceilings frame every moment in a calm mountain atmosphere.

Sleeping arrangements
Three bedrooms and a loft offer space for rest after days outdoors. The main-level primary suite has a king bed, French doors to the patio, a 45” Smart TV, and an ensuite bathroom with dual vanities and a shower/tub combo. Upstairs, one bedroom holds a queen bed with quiet views, while another provides a twin-over-queen bunk for flexible sleeping. The loft adds a sofa sleeper and doubles as a place to play games or set up at the workspace.

Living spaces
The main level combines rustic details with everyday comfort. A freestanding wood stove anchors the living area alongside a 65” Smart TV, while large bay windows bring in light and views. The dining table seats six, and the granite-topped island seats four more. The fully equipped kitchen is stocked with cookware, stainless steel appliances, and basics for preparing meals. Upstairs, the loft provides an inviting space to read, play, or work.

Game room
In the converted garage, foosball and pop-a-shot basketball invite friendly competition. An additional refrigerator keeps drinks and snacks ready between games.

Outdoor living
Two decks expand your space into the fresh mountain air. Out front, a dining set, fire pit, grill, and seating let you linger outdoors. At the back, the private hot tub is framed by forest views and string lights, offering a quiet retreat after hiking or skiing.

Amenities
The home includes washer and dryer, towels and linens, board games, Wi-Fi, Ethernet connection, ceiling fans, portable fans, and heating. Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower gel. A pack ’n play, high chair, and extra pillows and blankets are also provided. Safety features include smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and exterior security cameras positioned at the entrances only.

Neighborhood
Located in a quiet community 15 minutes from downtown Bailey, you can reach local breweries, cafés, and dining with ease. Hiking trailheads, fishing spots, biking routes, and ATV paths are nearby, while destinations such as Staunton State Park, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Golden, and Breckenridge are within a short drive.

***IMPORTANT*** Please be advised that this home is located on a sloped road on an elevated property. All guests must have 4-wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicles are required to access the home, especially in the winter and during rough weather conditions. We are not responsible for vehicles getting stuck or having issues accessing the property. Thanks for your understanding!

For guests staying from late October through late April, a 4WD vehicle is required. Most winter storms will provide about 5" of snow at one time. The road and our driveway is steep and can be problematic for cars not properly equipped to handle snow. The neighborhood roads and driveway are regularly plowed as needed during the winter months.



WOOD-BURNING FIREPLACE: In addition to central heating, this home features a wood-burning stove/fireplace. We kindly ask that you bring your own firewood if you plan to use it during your stay.

SUMMER: It is uncommon for mountain homes to have AC. The home does not have AC but has various windows that can be opened with ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living areas.

WINTER: Please note that this home is on a sloped road and elevated property. From late October to late April, AWD OR 4WD VEHICLES ARE REQUIRED due to potential snowfall. Winter storms typically bring about 5" of snow and our steep driveway requires proper snow-handling vehicles. Local roads and the driveway are plowed but 4WD or AWD vehicles are a must, especially in winter and bad weather. We're not responsible for stuck vehicles or access issues. Thanks for your understanding!

During icy, wet, or slippery weather conditions, please use extra caution when walking on the exterior stairs, patio deck and on the walkways. We are not responsible for any injuries or accidents resulting from slips or falls on the property. However, we will do our best to keep the driveway, stairs, and home entrances cleared and safe for all of our guests.

For safety and security purposes, we have a Ring doorbell security camera on the outside of the property at the front door. There are absolutely no cameras inside the home.

Please note that smoking of any kind is forbidden inside AND outside the home and will result in a minimum fine of $650.
