Welcome to Sunset Peak cabin! In our cabin you'll have stunning views of the NC mountains & gorgeous Lake Lure.

Relax on one of our 3 decks or hang out in our HUGE game room with pool table , foosball, dart, indoor basketball & corn hole!

Enjoy the private beach at Mirror Lake within the Riverbend community (10 min drive from the cabin & access all year around). The "Ole Swimming Hole” at the entrance is a fun spot for tubing and fishing. There's also a nature trail that leads to a lovely waterfall- don't miss it!

Our cabin is perfect for anyone who needs a getaway with amazing views. The area offers so much for a remote work getaway or family vacation & we love sharing it with you!

KITCHEN:
Stocked with pots, pans, baking sheets, utensils, etc. Everything you need to make a basic meal at home is provided. We also provide oil, basic spices & coffee/tea.

LIVING ROOM:
TV for streaming & views of the mountains outside the windows. Also features a dedicated work space with high speed wifi & electric fireplace.

PRIMARY BEDROOM:
Located on the main level, featuring a king-sized bed & large en suite bathroom.

SECONDARY BEDROOM:
Located on the main level, features a queen-sized bed & en suite bathroom.

LAUNDRY:
Located on the main level, feel free to use.

MAIN LEVEL PORCH:
Huge porch with many seating areas, mountain views, a gas firepit & blackstone grill.

GAME ROOM:
Downstairs in a huge space. Features a pool table, foosball table, indoor 2-player basketball, multiple seating areas & a large TV.

DOWNSTAIRS BEDROOM:
Large room with king-sized bed. Connects to kids' room.

DOWNSTAIRS KIDS' ROOM:
Features 2 twin-sized beds & lots of toys & books.

DOWNSTAIRS BATHROOM:
Serves both bedrooms downstairs.

DOWNSTAIRS DECK:
A small seating area + cornhole for the warmer months!

LOCATION:
The cabin is located on 1 acre surrounded by nature, hills and breathtaking views that will follow you everywhere around the house.

Please read the following before booking:

Part of the driveway is steep (but still accessible for all car types) and we also have hills around the cabin that are not fully fenced in.

You will hear cars driving by on Buffalo Shoals Rd. Overall, the area is very quiet and rural.

You will have a view of the mountains all year around.
There will be partial view of Lake Lure in summer and spring and a full view in winter and late fall.

We are not directly on the lake but only 10 min away from a private beach at Riverbend (accessible all year around). We are part of the Riverbend community but not inside the gates.

We ask for a maximum of 6 adults. The beds in the kids' room are for kids only.

We have two exterior security cameras. One is located at the front door and one on the side of the cabin above the sliding door. None on the back porches.

Please don’t leave trash or food outside. There are bears in the area.

We have two large TV's with Roku streaming devices. (Netflix and Amazon prime are included. If you would like to use any other apps, please use your own login.) We don't have cable.

We have two beach chairs and beach towels for you to use at the cabin.
Bring your own kayak or canoe to the lake.

Other amenities: Integrated 15KW Generator capable of powering the entire house, automatically switches on in the event of power loss.
