SAN GABRIEL RIVER Retreat WATERFRONT Panoramic View, PRIVATE POOL, Pet Friendly!
The San Gabriel River View Home is located in the heart of Georgetown, TX. It walking distance to miles of trails along the San Gabriel River which lead to many parks, Lake Georgetown, downtown Georgetown and more! The views from this home are amazing! The property has panoramic river views that can be seen from multiple windows in the home, as well as on the back patio and pool areas. The home is fully furnished and ready for you. Small dogs (20 lbs and under) are welcome. We have a $25 per day, non-refundable pet fee.
Downtown Georgetown is less than a 10 minute drive and includes many restaurants, museums, wineries, shopping adventures and the historical Georgetown Square. Southwestern University, Round Rock Outlet Mall and Sun City are all just a short drive!
This property is perfect for small groups not exceeding 6 people. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Both of the bathrooms have walk-in showers (no bathtubs). Please note a 4th bedroom, storage room and garage will be locked and not accessible by guests. There is a long carport for covered parking. There is other parking in the long driveway and on the street.
Please note, access to down to the river by the water is NOT allowed. Guests need to stay in the backyard fenced area. Chandler Park is just a few minute drive away and is a great place to fish and sit at the picnic tables by the water if you want to be by the river.
Please note this property is not recommended for children, due to the private pool. There is no lifeguard on duty, so swim at your own risk and minimum age for all guests is 15 years old. The pool is not heated. The person making the reservation needs to be at least 25 years old. No diving in the pool as it is shallow. And stay off the pool coping and faux negative edge, on the sides and back river side of the pool.
Don't forget your coffee, cream, sugar, laundry detergent, soaps, shampoo/conditioner and toiletries. We have a regular drip style coffee maker at the property. We provide toilet paper and paper towels to get you started.
If you would like to bring kayaks or water toys for the river, you are welcome too. You just need to access the river at Chandler Park, which is about a three minute drive from the house. There is no river access in the backyard.
Please note, we have a Ring security camera located at the exterior front entrance overlooking the driveway.

This special home feels like you are in the Texas Hill Country, viewing the San Gabriel River, that is always full of water. Yet, it is just a short drive to downtown Georgetown, TX where there is so much to do! Restaurants, shopping, trails, entertainment and more to name a few. We hope to share our home, with other people who want to enjoy the beautiful outdoors with year round waterfront and active wildlife that Georgetown has to offer. What we love about this property the most is it's uniqueness! You will see deer, rock squirrels, turtles and so much more sitting on the back porch. The views are phenomenal! There is not another home like this that we have found in Georgetown. Truly a one of a kind gem. If you are outdoor people who love nature, but also love being close to everything the Georgetown Square has to offer, this home is for you! We are native Texans and hope to share our Texas home with you.

This property is one of a kind. There are miles and miles of nearby hiking and bike trails. Shopping, wineries and the Georgetown Square are less than a 10 minute drive. There is a private pool (unheated) and perfect for the warm summer days in Texas.
