Awesome location, great home, steps from Lake Tahoe

My wife, two kids, and I got lucky to book this place for four nights late July/early August. It was perfect. It comes with access to a private dock and beach and is in a special neighborhood that is just a couple of blocks by a few blocks on the lake-side of Highway 89. Great, special location. The home is well-appointed with kitchen items, TVs, and a great old-school Kenwood receiver. Everything was clean and comfortable. The owners clearly care and maintain the place. West shore Lake Tahoe is idyllic. Quieter, cooler in the evenings, and prettier than South and North shore, in my opinion. Close to some cool local markets and dining, and just 12-15 minutes from a couple of major supermarkets and larger restaurants in Tahoe City. We'll definitely come back! Loved the location, home, and appreciated the friendly, thoughtful hosts.

Lovely!!!

We were in Tahoe for a wedding but also wanted to relax and spend some time exploring. Tahoe Pines was perfect! Five minutes from our wedding venue and close to lots of fun activities!! Shelley stayed in contact and made sure we had everything we needed! She was on top of everything! Our first trip to Tahoe was great thanks to her and Tahoe Pines!

A perfect spot from which to enjoy all that the West Shore has to offer!

I will start by saying Shelley was a joy to work with! The Eagles Nest is so well located for all of the recreational opportunities that the Lake affords. A 2-minute walk to the private beach or pier and the beautiful Lake is yours to enjoy. Fully furnished and equipped the "nest" itself is clean, comfortable and spacious. We would highly recommend this lovely home for your vacation and hope to be back again next year!

Great Location!!!

Mike and Shelley purchased this rare parcel in long established and historical area in 1990 of Tahoe Pines lakeside to build their retirement home and completed the dream in 2000. Mike is a builder/excavation contractor and Shelley is Property manager for over 40 years.
