40 acres and 3000 square feet of roomy log home accessing limitless outdoor recreation. Hunting the Grand Mesa, skiing Powderhorn, floating the Back Canyon of the Gunnison or fishing local rivers barely scratches the surface for things to do. Visit the local wineries of the North Fork Valley and feast at any one of the many restaurants in nearby Paonia. Skiing any top notch resort is well within your reach in every direction. Telluride, Powderhorn, Sunlight and Aspen are all within the shake of a lambs tail, 2 hours tops. When the day is done, come back to a cozy fire in the wood stove and gaze out at the beautiful sunsets. From this location, anything is possible in any direction.

Great stay in Hotchkiss!

The property was just as described. It was very easy to get to, clean, and roomy! We stayed for 2 nights. The first night there were 9 of us, and the 2nd night, there were 5. There was plenty of room for everyone! The communication with Scott was great and he was very responsive. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay.

Wedding Trip

Home was perfect fir our trip witha mix of family and friends to attend our daughter's wedding. Home was very clean and had all the things we needed to accommodate everyone from the infant to the adults. Nice and peaceful. . We would stay ther again.

Beautiful Home

The house is beautifully decorated and well appointed. The grounds are also meticulously maintained and there are many outdoor seating options. You can immediately see how much care went into the home and it was perfect for byBfamily and friend get together.

Paradise!!

This spacious open home was perfect for our family gathering. We sat out on the patio and dined and laughed for hours. The quiet and calm was peaceful and the surrounding landscape breathtaking. Fluffy white towels, gorgeous tiled showers, and natural colored silky sheets just added the the pleasure. Enjoy!

Enjoyable home to relax in after a day of adventures

The home is beautiful and spacious with plenty of places indoor and outdoor to relax in or hang out with our entire group. Host went above and beyond in providing a TV as requested by our party. Fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms are always appreciated.

Well Appointed Modern Cabin

This spacious “cabin” was lovely, tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean. Our host was quickly responsive to all communication, even anticipating our need for additional water. The panoramic views were incredible, including lots of wildlife, birds, and a few rodents that were taken care of prior to our departure. No surprise, given the remote setting! A very pleasant stay!

Beyond expectations!!

This VRBO is amazing! The home is beautiful, comfortable and in pristine condition. There were 10 in our group and the accommodations were perfect for us. The property offered hikes on the surrounding hills, several types of wildlife and spectacular views. The host was great and answered our questions in a timely manner. The location of the property is ideal for exploring The Black Canyon of the Gunnison and other attractions in the area. I would highly recommend this property to anyone that is interested in exploring this area of Colorado!

Beautiful retreat

Wonderful place, away from it all, but with quick wifi to stay in touch with the world. Prairie dogs, bunnies, hummingbirds and more to help you appreciate the beautiful flora and fauna of Colorado. Easy access to all the activities we planned. Plenty of bedding, towels, toiletries and even a couple bottles of wine to help us feel at home. Wonderful fire pit, clean BBQ and horseshoes for outdoor entertainment. Owner was quick to respond to any questions and concerns. Would definitely rent again!

Another Great Stay

Had the pleasure of enjoying this special rental a second time. This is my go-to home when visiting the area. Clean, perfectly appointed, well designed and each of the large rooms has a magical view. Amazing gateway

The house itself is beautiful, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. One of the standout features of the rental was its location. Situated in a stunning and secluded area, it offered breathtaking views and a peaceful ambiance that was truly rejuvenating. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I wish we stayed here longer to explore the area more. The house also boasted a fully equipped kitchen, which was a major bonus for someone like me who enjoys cooking. Overall, I highly recommend this rental house to anyone in search of a beautiful, cozy getaway in a secluded area. With its fully equipped kitchen and friendly host, it is the perfect place to unwind and recharge. Definitely worth the drive from Denver.

Lovely cabin with wonderful amenities. Cozy fireplace, spacious rooms, well-equipped kitchen, warm shower, plenty of linens made for an extremely comfortable stay! All of the typical kitchen appliances were available. One recommendation would be to add a television as even with the rustic charm of cabin-life , a television would have been useful for football/parades/holiday movies, etc. Overall excellent attention to detail and highly recommend.

A Slice of Heaven

This property is absolutely gorgeous. It is located near orchards, the black canyon, and vineyards. We had a great time and were impressed by this property, the furniture, and even the rugs. Well done and thanks for a great vacation!
