This was a fantastic place to spend a short summer vacation with our teen/young adult children. Everyone found something to love - game room, tv lounge, grill/yard games - and we were able to enjoy the house and activities as a family. The house is very close to Lake Michigan parks and activities and it was great to have a home base for our explorations. Everything was super clean and the house was thoughtfully stocked (kitchen/bathroom/games/grill supplies). Thank you for providing the Dorothy to summer guests!

Awesome house for our quick trip back to St. Joe. Super clean, super convenient. My kids loved the basement with the pool table, ping pong, darts, fooseball, putting green and more games we could count !! Fully loaded kitchen with everything we needed and more.

We enjoyed our stay at The Dorothy very much. It was like being home away from home. The host was easily available to help with any questions. It was clean, well supplied with everything we might need and then some. Everything we wanted to do was within 5 to 10 miles away. It was a quiet neighborhood, well maintained, and very comfortable. Lots of games and things to do in the basement and TVs in the bedrooms and living room. All in all, it was perfect.

Great place to stay
Loved everything about our stay. Had family over with a camp fire every night. Hoping to stay here next year for our granddaughter's graduation.

Weekend get away
Very clean and quiet area. Game room was amazing we had a great time playing pool, foose ball, and ping pong, Recommend staying here!

Coziest, cleanest rental
We loved staying at this property! It is the most home like property I've ever rented and we would definitely go back. All the towns were super convenient to get to pretty quickly from this location and the hiking at nearby Grand Mere State Park was amazing!

The Dorothy is the perfect place to stay
Centrally located in St. Joseph area it is the perfect location to see the area sites. The property inside and out is well manicured and clean.The neighborhood is quiet and friendly as well.The hosts provide everything needed for a comfortable stay and so helpful if you have an inquiry.Highly recommend this place for your visit

Beautiful place
While staying here, we found everything we would need/want. Our family had fun playing provided outdoor games, and using the grill and fire pit. It was very clean, and such a cute place. We would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful time at The Dorothy! It was so nice getting to sit outside by the fire pit after a long day at the beach. My son was also in love with all the activities and games to play in the basement. We would absolutely stay there again and again.

Fishing getaway.
Enjoyable stay, fishing wasn't to good this time around but the outdoor space was great for a BBQ, campfire and nice spot for a couple adult beverages.

Great Location!
Very welcoming, clean and cozy place. Shelly was quick to respond and available for any questions we had. Easy check in and was comfortable for all 5 of us. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend!!
