Get away from it all to this darling rustic cabin. It is secluded and peaceful, yet only 7 miles to downtown Brevard. It has 2 roomy porches to relax on, and long range mountain views in the winter, and a treehouse feel in the summer. Inside there is wide plank pine flooring, hammer beams, and laurel handrailing.

This cabin was perfect for our mountain trip. The location is great for being secluded yet not too far outside of Brevard. We enjoyed the beautiful fall colors all around us and waking up in the woods each day was a delight. The cabin was very clean and stocked with everything we needed
.very comfortable. Jessica was very nice and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again if we return to this area.

Laurel Haven was exactly as listed...secluded, clean, well equipped, comfortable. It was nice to have the simple basics provided. We had a lot of fun playing ping pong in the basement after our long days of hiking! Jessica was a great host and very responsive. This adorable cabin will be at the top of our list for our next visit!

My daughter and I absolutely loved this cabin. Cozy, tranquil and close to everything. It had everything we needed. I especially loved the tub and practicing yoga on the porch in the sun’s dappling through the leaves. Will definitely stay here again.

Mountain stay

It was so nice to be in a quiet, clean, peaceful place. The cabin is furnished with everything you need and the most comfortable king-sized bed. It was delightful sitting on the porches with only the sounds of nature. We would happily come back again.

Such a beautiful cozy cabin! It is nestled in a community but feels very private and secluded. Home is beautiful and is sooo clean and well appointed. Everything to do is 15 minutes away and the drive anywhere is absolutely beautiful. I stayed here for 9’days to work while our son attended camp. Wifi was strong! Loved it so much we booked the neighboring cabin for next summer.

The house was one of the cleanest I've ever stayed in! And the area was quiet and convenient to downtown Brevard, or getting around anywhere else. We really enjoyed our stay. The only things I would comment on are the same things from every VRBO - house needs a sound bar for the TV, lumpy pillows and burnt up spatulas and scratched fry pans. Everything else, including the bigger TV and the niceness of the host made up for it. : ) We would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at the cabin!

The cabin was perfect for us and our two dogs. We had a blast hiking and just relaxing. This was our second stay at this cabin. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.

Wonderful Winter Retreat

This is a classic mountain cabin located in the peaceful setting of Brevard, NC. My wife and I have stayed here (and the sister cabin) several times and at different times of the year. All visits have been spectacular retreats, and the home offers plenty of space and comfort. We've already booked our next stay. Highly recommend it!

Wonderful Return

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stays at both Laurel and Chestnut Haven. Nestled in a quiet and secluded nook in the Brevard area, both cabins offer great comfort and all the amenities for a wonderful getaway. We highly recommend both properties and look forward to a return visit.

Great Hideaway

Everything needed for a wonderful winter stay. One day of our visit was freezing drizzle so it was a great day to spend in our pj's and the fire blazing. Beautiful waterfalls for daily trips.

Excellent experience

This cabin is so cute and well maintained. It’s VERY close to many beautiful hiking trails. We loved sitting on the porch to eat meals and enjoyed the location of the cabin. Our host kept us up to date on all weather conditions too, since it was a very cold stay. Would definitely book again!

Peaceful getaway close to Brevard

Very comfortable bed. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch in peace and quiet, no sounds of traffic. Just nature. Cabin is just right for a mountain getaway. Lots of trails and waterfalls close by and great restaurants in Brevard.

Peaceful retreat!

We loved our stay at Laurel Haven! The cabin is cozy, nicely decorated and inviting in a very quiet setting. The furniture is very comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, etc., and the cabin is incredibly clean. We enjoyed time on the covered back porch overlooking a wonderful forested setting. Jessica is a friendly and accommodating host and we highly recommend this property!

Mountain Retreat Dream Cabin

The cabin was homey, comfortable, and rustic, the perfect change of pace from SWFL. The back deck was idyllic....Everything we could possibly need in the kitchen, except maybe a Keurig, so I had to re-learn how to make a real cup of coffee, but that is not a bad thing ;-) Jessica, our host, was super helpful, and responsive. We will absolutely stay again in the future.

Cozy Cabin

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for... cozy, tucked away, and simple. It had everything we needed and no extras, which was perfect. We loved spending evenings on the porch or by the fireplace. The kitchen had all the tools we needed to make a few simple meals, and the pyrex storage containers were a huge plus. Would definitely recommend.

Storybook Cabin in the Woods

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were only the sounds of the forest each night as we enjoyed the spacious outside covered deck complete with rocking chairs. The interior has interesting architectural details & fun, unexpected decor touches. It was easy to see the owner had fun decorating the house and it worked very well to give this cottage a storybook feel. It was a comfortable stay and we became extremely fond of this lovely cabin.

My mother and father in law used to own the property and rent it out as well. They sold the property September 2021, which gave me the opportunity to manage this home that has lots of memories in it.

We live just 5 minutes down the road, so if you need anything we can hopefully be here a lot sooner than other property managers.
