After you had notified us about this issue, we reached out to the tenants above, reminding them of the building’s quiet hours as well as general consideration for all occupants residing within the complex. We are disappointed that this did not seem to improve the issue with the noise transfer over the course of your stay. We regret that these issues impacted your stay and hope, despite this issue, that you had a chance to enjoy the many wonderful aspects of Jackson. However, we sincerely apologize that other aspects of your stay fell short of expectations. We’re very sorry that the home was not properly cleaned prior to your arrival. Cleanliness is a priority for us, and we regret that we fell short in this instance. We’ve shared your feedback with our housekeeping team to help ensure these items are not overlooked during future cleans. We also appreciate you allowing our team to return the following day to perform a secondary cleaning. We recognize the inconvenience this caused and apologize for the impact it had on the start of your stay. We’re also very sorry for the noise transfer from the upstairs unit. As this is an older building, the insulation doesn’t dampen sound as much as we’d like, and some noise is unfortunately inherent in multi-level properties. We completely understand how disruptive this can be, and to help minimize the impact, we’ve placed white noise machines in each bedroom to help guests rest more comfortably. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention, as your feedback helps us identify areas where we can improve and provide a better experience for future guests.
