Colvmns by the Sea är en världsberömd landmärke Fastigheten ligger på den östra sidan av Cape May Island, New Jersey. Det är en av de få Edwardian Revival Mansions Byggt 1905.

Badrum design inspirerades av World Class europeiska Spa med omfattande användning av turkiska travertin.

Weekday Getaway

Little piece of heaven

Very lovely cottage, charming accents, great front porch with incoming ocean breezes. TVs in bedroom was nice to have, as well as electric fireplaces.

Perfect Cape May Experience

The 2 bedroom (dog-friendly) cottage was perfect. The spiral staircase, second-floor sun room, and the roof top seating (on the "main building", gave us feel the seaside experience we were looking for. Ron was great to deal with and supplied us with everything we needed to feel at home.

Gem of a place on historic Beach Avenue

Great place with plenty of room for our family, including our dog. Easy access to the beach and within walking distance of a few great restaurants. Highly recommend this place and wonderful communication with Ron and Bernadette.

Charming beachfront cottage

One of our beautiful weeks in Cape May. The cottage was so charming and comfortable. Loved the updated appliances and TVs. Really felt like home. The location was perfect, just a short walk to one of the less crowded beautiful beaches. We did have a chance to meet the owner when we checked in, and he was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful Oceanfront Cottage

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Bernadette and Rons little cottage by the ocean. It was incredibly spacious, clean and had all of the amenities could ask for including a BEAUTIFUL view. We will definitely stay again and would recommend it to others!

Christmas Getaway

The cottage was perfect for our family of 5 for a holiday getaway. We loved all of the details and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The gift basket upon arrival was very sweet and welcoming! We would definitely stay there again as we come to Cape May often!

Clean and Quiet

We enjoyed this cottage away from the rush of downtown. Loved the screened porch, the two bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. Nicely decorated and very clean.

Charming dog friendly home

The location of this home is perfect. Warm and inviting spaces. So nice to be able to bring our dogs. Cape May is so unique and so is this home. I didn't realize that we had to bring linens, but Bernadette brought a brand new sheet set over when I inquired about it.

Rest and Rejuvination

So lovely to stay here! It was a bonus to get to meet Bernadette and her husband, Ron. We loved the location, the home, and the love and thoughtfulness that they have put into the home. Hidden gem...

We absolutely loved the cottage and wish we had found it soon with definitely stay again Ron and Bernadette are excellent hosts the only comment I would make is the website lists 2 twin beds which we thought we could push together to make one for a married couple when in fact it is a twin trundle which would not accommodate a couple sleeping in the same bed

birthday celebration at the beach

The cottage is a lovely place, a wonderful combination of modern function with charm. The location is peaceful, and the cottage is furnished with many elements that are interesting to look at or have guests' comfort in mind. I celebrated a milestone birthday there with old friends I hadn't seen since before the pandemic. Our favorite thing to do was sit out on the second floor porch and listen to the sound of the ocean. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for peace, quiet, comfort, and charm! I hope to be a regular guest!

Great week just feet away from the beach

Our family wanted to stay in a quite area of Cape May that was close to the beach. The cottage checked both boxes, and in fact we were much closer to the beach than we thought. Great view of the ocean from the screen porch. The Jitney ran past the house, so getting around Cape May was easy and we didn’t have to drive much. We brought our dog with us and he was fine, however the spiral staircase was tough for the dog. There is a set of stairs outside that leads to the porch, so that was how we got the dog up and down the stairs. Our family was overall very happy to stay there and we enjoyed ourselves for every second we had there.

Quaint

Quaint property. Quiet. Needs a bit of up keep and bit of cleaning. Bedrooms are on the first floor along with a full bath and laundry. The mattress in the master bedroom was a bit too firm for our liking so we bought a foam topper to use for our stay. There were a few cobwebs in the rooms and dirt build up in the ceiling vents. The sofa was stained and not comfortable to us. Over all it was quaint but needs some up keep.
