The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures and equipment) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need to collect a traditional security deposit ($3000 security deposit held on card for 14 days post check out if you waive the damage insurance). You have the option to pay the $3000 security deposit in lieu of insurance.
