This cozy 3bdrm 2ba single family house is a nice little getaway and spacious area that can sleep up to 8 guests. With the basic essentials provided, you can easily make yourself at home. There is 1 bedroom and 1 full bathroom on 2nd floor, 2 bedrooms on the first floor, a formal dining area, a sitting area, living room with sleeper sofa, and the screened patio and fenced-in backyard offers serenity. Pets are welcome to enjoy the house for an additional fee.

Concert stop

We traveled to this area to attend a concert at the Beacon Theatre. This house was perfect-not too far from the city, but nice and peaceful, dog friendly, air conditioning worked GREAT in the summer heat! Def a nice spot to access the city without the hustle and bustle.

Wonderful hidden Gem.

Nestled in the City of Petersburg. The place was beautiful and quiet. I will more than likely schedule this place when I come down to visit again.

NIce spot if you have pets

Was a great house to stay at. They accommodated my family well with my 3 dogs. Had a nice fenced-in back yard and plenty of space in the house for my family. Owner communicated with me well. I would recommend this VRBO for family too use.

Quaint little house

Sweet historical home. Very welcoming, had all the VRBO little needs on hand. Coffee, coffee maker, coffe filter, fresh sponge, dishwasher, washer and dryer with laundry soap, body wash. Bathrooms were very clean. Comfortable sleeping areas and living room. Host was very kind and courteous!

Short but great stay

Perfect for our stay here in Va. Help make my decision to move to VA an ease one. Easy access to everything we needed and just the perfect size too. Love the backyard! So peaceful.

It is alright

Nice little house with lots of room. Sleeps at least 8 people. The house seems to be a work in process, as missing handles, caulking the bathroom floor etc. Was clean, only one room has closet space. Needed more dishes, pot holders and to go through their shelves. Advertised as pet friendly for both cats and dogs, however a day before we arrived we got instructions to keep the pets off the furniture, not sure how you do that with cats. If we had known this we would have booked else where.

Thanksgiving

Overall our stay was great! We were visiting my son who was in AIT training at the army base. We wanted to cook thanksgiving dinner, which we were able to do, but we have to improvise a few things to get it done. There were no dish towels, pot holders, or casserole dishes. As well as no towels on the property. We had to buy these items. Truely other then that everything else was good. Clean house, water pressure in shower was awesome!

Beautiful and peaceful

Love the old houses in Petersburg. Driving up to this place was fun, the neighborhood is beautiful…….and very peaceful. The beds were super comfortable, the house super clean. Felt comfortable staying there. The only thing that I’d say is not that great is there was only 4 dinner plates & 2 salad plates so I was hand washing in order to reuse. The other thing was there were no hand towels in the bathrooms or any kitchen towels. So I had to use a bath towel to dry any dishes we had. Also hot pads would be nice. That’s totally minor compared to location & comfort.

We would definitely stay again

We were in town on a family pass for my son who’s in AIT at Fort Gregg Adams. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. My son walked down to the local park to play basketball. This property is within miles of a grocery store and walmart. We traveled to Richmond and done some shopping. We truly enjoyed our stay. The hostess was very helpful and accommodating and responded very quickly.

We were so thankful to have a welcoming and loving home! Visiting our Marine, we couldn’t find a better VRBO! Fur babies welcome, with beautiful fenced in backyard. Huge kitchen, and our hostess Ms Lana, even had vanilla in her well stocked spices! My son asked for Banana bread last minute! Hoping to visit again soon!

Things can be improved with this beautiful home

I enjoyed my stay and it was a great experience. It was just enough space for us. However as beautiful as this home is it didn’t come with any cleaning supplies, the kitchen sink kept getting stopped up ( that was not explained to me till i reached out and asked) it was only 2 pots and one was rusty and one skillet to cook with. So i had go out and buy cookware. It wasn’t enough wash cloth and towels. I feel once these things get handled this home would be perfect. Overall it was great but things can improve to support the family that staying.

Great hime away from home

Very quiet and quaint neighborhood. Very spacious home and close to Ft Lee, grocery and shopping. Great screened in porch and a beautiful back yard. Property manager/owners are amazing!
