Great stay on short notice

My friends and I had to scramble to rent a place for a one night stay due to a previous rental being overbooked. This rental was exactly what we needed. It’s a bit on the pricey end but all we needed was a place to sleep. There were plenty of beds for us all and the pool was a nice commodity.

A beautiful location just minutes away from DT Houston!

We had a phenomenal time at this location, it’s minutes away from downtown Houston and close to major highways making it very accessible to travel all throughout the greater Houston area. The place was very spacious and our party of 6 slept very well and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this space to anyone looking for a safe, clean and accessible place in Houston.

Overall pretty good

The property was pretty, there was a few small hiccups along the way. The house still had some remnants from the previous guests, like popcorn in the back yard confetti in the blinds, and tape on the walls. The pool stopped working on the first night and stayed broken the rest of the time we were there. I mean it was a good place to come and crash after Hitting Montrose all night. The neighborhood was safe, the neighbors polite, and over all it was a good stay.

Good location but filthy

Good communication with the host for the most part. Within the week of the stay the check-in and checkout time changed by like 2 hours. Thank goodness I had a screenshot of the time and he stood by what I had proof of. However, when we arrived the AC was not working and was about 90 inside. Contacted host and he said someone would be there between 6 pm and 11pm. We were forced to find a hotel to accommodate all of us. Also this property doesn’t go by the VRBO guarantee I contacted them within 12 hours of the situation they aren’t covering any of the hotel. Someone showed up the next morning. The house sleeps 12 but there is only enough plates and silverware for 5. Not a fully stocked kitchen at all. The property was very dirty. Our feet were stained with filth our entire stay. There was a comment about confetti on window from a previous visitor and it was still there when we were there. Also the front bedroom has NO air vents and stays tremendously hot. One of the fans left for circulation didn’t work. Mentioned it to the host and it wasn’t replaced. In one of the showers you had to press up at same time you pulled. Also only one person could take a shower at a time. And if any water was being used the water pressure was non-existent. Stay here if you dare. Only thing going for it is the location and amount of beds.
