Really a lovely place to stay and amenities were appreciated. Air conditioner had a hard time keeping up with the August heat

Great place, awesome pool

We were here a year ago while remodeling our house, and loved it. My daughter had such a good time that she insisted we do her 9th birthday party here. Beautiful property, wonderful pool, we had a great time.

Christmas stay

Overall we had a great stay and enjoyed the house. Lake view was excellent with daily pelican parades that floated by. House was well appointed and the hot tub was great.

Softball Tournament

Property was perfect for us (4 adults 2 kids) House is well stocked. Beds are OK and plenty of pool towels. Plenty of activities both inside and out. Quiet neighborhood. Easy access to the interstate. The pool area and the decks are beautiful but need some TLC.

Great place. We'll try it again in summer to take advantage of pool area.

Uniquely arranged, and big enough for all. Kids enjoyed bunks. Being pet friendly nice as well, though they (pets) didn't like the spiral staircase. Look forward to next visit.

Perfect place to unwind for a wedding weekend

We had a relaxing time visiting with family before and after the wedding. So many great places to sit and enjoy the outdoor space, near the pool and off the small lake behind the house. The black deck around the pool made for a true life "the floor is lava" game but there is also a white space around the pool that could be walked on and was cool even in 100-degree weather. We had a lot of fun at this house.

Family trip

Had our annual NE and TX family weekend where we meet up half way. Enjoyed our stay. Plenty of seating and TVs. Loved playing some games of pool. And enjoyed catching some rays on the pool deck. 😁

Catching up with friends

We use VRBO a lot - not aware of stairs or steepness - not great for 65+. Enjoyed our stay and pool, kitchen, & game room. Needs more bath towels & wash cloths + trash was not emptied. Very conveniently located to shopping and restaurants - great quiet neighborhood.

Nice but outside

This property was nice and large. The kitchen had everything you need. Pool tabke, my son played the grand piano a lot. Kids enjoyed the games. The pool was great, we really enjoyed it, but the entire outside area needs power washed and cleaned. Lots of weeds, spiders, spider webs and all the outdoor furniture was dirty. There was also 4 large trash cans full of garbage in the driveway.

Great place for entertaining

My family of six from out of town, stayed and hosted our daughters' SNU college grad celebration over the weekend. This place is an ideal location, super comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood with amazing lake views (sunsets were stunning). The patio, pool and deck areas are laid out well with multiple areas both inside and out for guests to discover and socialize. The interior decor is tastefully updated and house is well-stocked with everything needed for entertaining. With most older homes, there are things (glass door slides, light switches, plumbing) you need to figure out and manage but nothing detracts from the overall experience. Because of the multi-level design and unique spiral staircase to lower bedrooms, it may not be suitable for elderly or disabled individuals with mobility challenges. Ultimately, our grad daughter, family and guests were extremely pleased and this home made our stay extra special. Thanks to the owners who were super to work with.

Nice place

The area is awsome. The house sits right on a small lake and you can fish right off of the lower deck. I think the owners need to advertise that for their own benefit. The house is really nice except for a couple of things that were difficult for us. Several of the doors to the outside are very hard to open and close. That was somewhat disappointing. Also, there is a spiral staircase that is very challenging to get up and down! There is no mention of that in their advertisement. It's really tough if you're elderly and it's the only way to get to the bottom floor from the inside of the house. Also, since it is pet friendly, it would be nice to have a fenced front yard. Otherwise it is a great place to stay. Great pool, nice pool table, and other forms of entertainment. The owner provides really nice snacks and even a bottle of champagne. Tv's everywhere. Shade trees all around the house. Easy access to many fast food places and also to nice restaurants. Really nice. Especially for the price. We would stay again, especially if the yard gets fenced.
