This home has one of the coziest living rooms you've ever seen. Take a load off on one of the comfy couches and put on your favorite movie or show on the streaming-enabled TV while you enjoy ocean views all around you. The open concept space flows into the bright, beautiful, spacious kitchen.


Fully stocked and equipped, you'll have everything you need to make delicious meals, snacks, and beverages. Take a seat at the lovely dining table with ocean views or take your meal outside and enjoy the lovely patio furniture on the spacious deck.


The bedrooms are all unique and supremely comfortable, filled with calming colors and coastal décor. 


The primary has a king bed, an attached bathroom with double sinks, and direct access to the home's second deck.


Bedroom #2 has a comfortable queen bed and also has access to the second deck.


Bedroom #3 has two separate twin beds.


Common area has a full sized bed with trundle underneath.


All 3 bathrooms are spacious, updated, and have lots of counter space and storage.

Pet Policy:

We know some vacations just aren’t complete without your furry best friend by your side. We are happy to accommodate dogs at this property under the following conditions:

Dogs must be disclosed at the time of booking.
A $100 pet fee will be invoiced and must be paid prior to your stay.

As close to the gulf as you can get

Newly remodled house with 4 separate sleeping areas. Beautifully furnished and massively comfy. We drove on the beach! Went to a local restaurant and played trivia. Would not hesitate to rent here again.

Great weekend at the Beach

We have been coming to this beach for may years, this is one of my favorite places we have stayed. House was clean and the walk over to the beach was very convenient. We enjoyed the views from both the upper and lower deck. I will keep this one in mind for future trips to Surfside.

Great location

We had a great stay here, it was clean and they communicated well with us beforehand. I loved how close it was to the beach, easy access. I will definitely recommend this place to my family. The only problem we had was the doors are hard to lock and unlock, but we eventually got it.

The place was absolutely wonderful, very beautifully decorated. There seems to be some maintenance needed here and there around the property, some lights and fixtures outside we’re not working handrail and banister railings need fixing. But we absolutely loved our stay

Very Enjoyable

Clean, accurate pictures. Excellent location. Would have been nice to have had a garbage disposal, and I would consider moving the TV to the side wall to avoid the glare from the windows…small details, but can talk about small details when the property is this well organized and kept. Recommend and would come back!

Beach Getaway

We wanted to spend a few days at the beach without the crowds. This house is a great place for that. The beach is relatively peaceful without a lot of traffic. The neighbors were quiet. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, no need to bring pots and pans, its all there. Overall we had a nice stay.

Getaway Weekend

We really enjoyed the house and the close proximity to the beach. It was set up perfectly for our family. The only thing that I would change is the king bed frame and headboard. It was very noisy every time you moved in bed. We visited in November and that was the perfect time of year for no vehicle traffic or people on the beach. We wanted a relaxing weekend and it was perfect. Have already recommended this house and would stay here again.

Location, bedrooms, living room kitchen excellent!

Property manager non- communicator when I texted that the back door to porch was broken and that we had to put furniture in front of door at night. Basically it was an OK beach house and location was excellent. Either owners or property managers are not keeping a close enough eye on property for items that don’t function properly ( I.e. downstairs shower apparatus).

Perfect!

This is it! We have found our perfect yearly vacation spot! The property was spotless when we arrived. They left plenty of shower towels and trash bags. There’s lots of pots and pans. It is the perfect distance to the beach. There was even a beach tent, beach table, beach chairs and beach toys on property for us to use. There is a charcoal grill also. This was perfect for our family of 4 and our dog. Plenty of room, and lots of family game boards. We had a wonderful time and will be back. Thank you!!

Trailride on the beach

Every thing was great expected the house smell of dog and stains in the carpet and dog hair was on the blinds. But in all it was a very nice house just the few nicks and we call the property to come spot clean the carpet and bring something for the dog smell but they never showed up

Great location, great house with a view

Quiet, well appointed house. The owner provides a lot of little items u need when staying in a VRBO. Someone cooked something spicy before we arrived, leaving an odor that lingered all weekend. Some else's body hair was in the bathtub and windows need cleaning. A squeegee left on site would be helpful to help ckean windows. I wouldn't have minded wiping them to see better. We liked the house. A great floor plan w 3 baths and lots of beds. A great property for a family or group of friends wanting to relax w ocean view.

Great access to the beach, but…

This house has amazing access to the beach. However, we were not aware it was directly in the middle of a public beach area, so the beach was very crowded and people stayed very late on the beach and had very loud parties. This is not the property owner’s fault, I just think people should be aware of that. The house has lots of things provided (except no trash bags) including tons of beach toys. Cleanliness was a big concern. Now our stay was at the end of the beach season, so I think this is likely why.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My husband and I travel a lot and have never had such an unpleasant experience. We’ve never paid as much as we did, either. We typically give credit where credit is due by leaving a good review. I understand some things are out of their control, but not everything. We can start with the blanket that had BLOODY STAINS in the master bedroom. The ceiling fan didn’t work at all in this room, and the patio door was stuck. My husband could pry it open, but it took full force. The water smelled awful and foul in all the drains. It's almost like sewage water in the kitchen. ALL of the dishes were dirty. The pans rusted. There was a wet mop left in the front bathroom, and the toilet was stained and looked like it had never been washed. The bolts holding the place together cracked and crumbled, and then there was the deck. The rusted nails that anyone could have stepped on and the missing boards and loose side railing right before the gate on the right side, which my 5-year-old autistic child found. The coffee maker wasn’t clean, the grill wasn’t cleaned out, the door handle kept falling off, and it would have been nice if someone had warned us that the MOSQUITOES were so terrible. We drove over 5 hours and would have planned preventative measures, or the fact that oil in the water ruined multiple clothes we had just purchased for the trip. I emailed them and got not so much as an apology. I tried copying it but not enough space.

Rest and Relaxation

Our family had a wonderful stay at Bluewater Drive! The house was just perfect for the 5 of us and our two dogs; and could definitely hold a few more people. We were very impressed with how well stocked kitchen was with pots, pans, dishes, containers, crock pot, pressure cooker, Utensils-anything you might need to fix a meal. The hard surface floors, beds, and bathrooms were extremely clean; but following behind a toddler that hides his toys in every nook and cranny we found 3 remote controls, other toys, lots of crumbs, & pet hair in and under the furniture, and the carpets had visible pet stains, and felt very dirty to the touch. But, since the house allows dogs on a beach we were not expecting perfection. Speaking of dogs, they were provided food bowls in the pantry, and there was a hose to rinse sand off of paws, feet, and toys right at the back door of deck. Being our first visit to beach with dogs we found this so convenient, and easier than expected to prevent them from bringing sand into the house! The gated deck was perfect for keeping toddler and dogs happy while fixing a meal! The 2 teens loved being able to get sun on the beach or deck and perfect WiFi accessibility. My husband and I really enjoyed sipping coffee and waking up with sounds of waves and feel of winds on the balcony. Surfside Beach Texas is definitely a new favorite for our family, the locals are extremely friendly and laid back which iwas perfect for us. We were told it can get crazy on holidays and summers, but we found it to quiet, and most vehicles driving on the beach to be courteous of pedestrians and respectful of speed limit. We will come back for sure, and we are highly satisfied with our first VRBO vacation. Coastal Connections was prompt and made the entire process very simple and easy!!!
