Excellent Beachfront Location

The reviews don’t lie. This place provides a true vacation experience. We didn’t leave the property for our three days there. It didn’t feel right to not stay and enjoy the homes views, direct beach access, game room, and outdoor lounging areas. My family had a great time, the weather was agreeable the entire time, and I’m glad we chose this location, in conclusion everything was perfect.

Amazing House

This was a fantastic beach house. It had everything we needed and beach access was perfect. We have stayed in a lot of places along the coast and this is our favorite one yet. We are definitely coming back. 100% recommend!

Great beach house

We love coming to this house every year. Right on the beach (on the bluff over the waves with some stairs down to the beach). Fully equipped, clean, and perfect for day trips to Brookings (to get fresh off-the-boat Dungy crabs) and to the Redwoods just east of Cresent City.

Beach view

The location on the beach was fantastic. The house is wonderful. Lots of space. Great layout. My only suggestion would be to make it easier to spot the driveway. It’s on the highway, so you need to quickly know when to turn in. Would definitely return.

Relaxing

This home is so comfortable you won’t want to go anywhere. Sitting on the patio watching the ocean, walking on the private beach, enjoying the hot tub and fire pit….it is the best. Well stocked home.

Always a pleasant stay

Our family always enjoys staying here. A short stairway to the beach, a great view of the ocean, and a fun arcade room. I wish the arcade machines were set to free play because we always end up spending like $40 in quarters :-)

Family Vacation

This property was great. Beautiful house was pretty accurate on description actually I feel it was a little nicer than the pics even. It has beautiful view out the back, big fire pit, and the family enjoyed the game room. Some games did not work but that was ok we still had a blast. I absolutely would come back.

Family reunion

We enjoyed our stay at the beach house in Smith River! The view was incredible and the house very comfortable and clean! The beach access was not as good as we had hoped due to all the rain and runoff. We went about a mile down the road to walk on beach. We would definitely stay at this location again. Incredible View

We love this place. Ever since our first stay 3 years ago, we’ve made it an annual trip. There’s no guarantee that the weather will be nice but with this place it doesn’t matter because you can at least enjoy the waves that are always in view.

Awesome family getaway location

This was our 2nd family trip to this home - 2 families of 4 with young adult kids. We all find this home comfortable (beds are better than mine at home!) with almost everything you want in the kitchen. We cooked 4 meals in and ate out in Crescent City one eve. Last time we ate out 1 night in Brookings. Hot tubbing overlooking the crashing waves is great even in the rain. We brought our own games and puzzles but there were plenty at the house. I even brought quarters for the pinball machines and still forgot to play! Big waves this trip but at lower tide time we enjoyed the beach access. Careful of the steps down to the beach in the winter - hold the rails! 2 adults landed on their backsides going down due to slippery conditions. This may be the familys’ favorite lodge. We even sat around the fire pit before dinner one night. A great place to come together but plenty of room to retreat for private time too. Highly recommended.

Beautiful property and mesmerizing views

Layout of the house was perfect, we were a small group of three but the house could easily accommodate 3 couples with some kids. Kitchen was well stocked with amenities. The house was as clean and well kept. The ocean views from inside the space as well as out on the patio are stunning. We spent hours soaking it all in. There is a path to the beach that my 80 year old mother could easily navigate. I absolutely recommend this space and would love to visit again to watch another sunset from the hot tub!

A gem on the beach

This is a great property with quick access to the beach. Amazing game room which we did not use due to wanting to spend our time outside. Hope to come back again.
