Waena Inn offers a comfortable and authentic Maui lodging experience in the historic town of Wailuku. Our property features private studio-style suites, each thoughtfully designed for simplicity, convenience, and value. With units approximately 300 sq. ft., guests may choose between ground-level rooms with 9 ft. ceilings or upstairs rooms with 12 ft. ceilings for an open and airy feel. ADA-accessible units and additional bedding options are available to accommodate a variety of travel needs.

What makes Waena Inn special is its central location and local character. Just 8–12 minutes from OGG Kahului Airport and 5–10 minutes from Maui Memorial Medical Center, Kaiser, and other medical facilities, our inn is especially appreciated by traveling nurses, visiting families, business guests, and travelers who want easy access to explore the island. Great location

Located conveniently close to Kahului airport. Those who plan to go to HĂ na or Haleakala National Park. This is somewhat closer than saying on the west side. It has most of the amenities you need for your vacation.

Basic, clean place to stay for a short time upon arrival to Maui. Basically a hotel room with a bit more extensive kitchen (microwave, Keurig, fridge, dishes). Close to airport, Iao Valley and east side attractions. Check in, directions and communications with host all very smooth.

The property was exactly what we were looking for - close to where we needed to be in Wailuku, and the photos were accurate. The room and bathroom were both very clean, and overall a very enjoyable stay.

Great unit, clean, quiet, washer and dryer on site makes it convenient and a reserved parking spot! Overall great place. Not well supplied though. You must pack beach towels, coolers and chairs. Kitchen supplies very minimal. More like a hotel stay.

The apartment was very clean, I got new towels every day. The parking was grate and there are cameras on the parking lot. The area is the only negative point.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The area is conveniently in the middle of all the good stuff. Although, I came here expecting everything being at walking distance, a car is recommended. Tony was very helpful and gave a lot of advice. Very lovely and wish him and his family the best! He made this an easier experience.

Great property, nice management and awesome price

I had 5 night stay with them. Room was big, good view towards Lao Valley.Very good location: 5 mins to everywhere(food, mall) 30 min to Kihei beach, 30 min to olowalu, 1hr to national park.Management team very good, provide me list of good restaurant and local attraction foreheads. Effective communication.Also, this property provided many convenience for our trip. Free beach towel for beaches and blanket for sunrise watching. I believed they also provide snorkeling gear for borrowing.Overall, its a wonderful stay for me

just perfect

The room met my needs completely. It was large, spotlessly clean, and the kitchenette was comfortably equipped with fridge, kettle, microwave, coffee machine, etc. You can check-in and out without interacting with the staff because you get very clear instructions emailed to you, but if you need any help, they're there and very helpful. I'll be booking with them the next time I visit for sure.

Central Location

Easy check-in and communication. Great location for accessing Wailuku and Kahului. The room is on the second floor so you’ll need to use stairs, but we liked not being on the ground floor. The room is spacious, the higher ceilings give it a more open feel. There is some noise at night from cars on the street, but we kept the window closed so it didn’t disrupt our sleep. The bed is so comfortable! Would definitely stay here again :)

Wonderful stay

I loved this cute studio! It's clean, modern, and have microwave & fridge which I need!! They provide extras, like plates, utensils, mugs, electric water kettle. The contact person, Eric is very responsive and helpful. I wish I could meet him personally when I was there, just to say thank you!! Also, there is a small market right across the street and we got hot fresh musubi for quick snack. I will definitely stay there again if I visit Maui! Aloha
