Welcome to our modern yet rustic-tiny guest house! The Shack has the best views from your window and deck; offering a true So. Utah experience! Just a short driving distance to several National and State Parks. And only minutes away from 2 lakes, sand dunes, and the most epic mountain biking and hiking in the nation.

"BE"ing in our humble home is an experience all it's own. The unique layout of the home is unforgettable, and the grounds have an energy you can breath into.

This was a beautiful place to stay with the most cozy loft! The hosts are next door neighbors - great people & 2 very friendly dogs! Very clean, an awesome view, and close to many attractions! Highly recommend!!

The Shack was absolutely adorable! Everything was perfect. The bed was super comfy; it was very clean and organized, the towels were extra fluffy, and we were greeted everyday by two very sweet dogs. Lots of thought and creativity went into the building of this place. The view from the back porch is amazing, and the host was very helpful. I wish we could have stayed longer. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Zion Trip

We loved this place! The owner was extremely responsive to messages, property was clean and exactly what you need if you’re visiting Zion. Loft is great for relaxing after a long day of hiking. Highly recommend!

Comfortable stay

We stayed in the area two days to explore Zion and did some other local hikes (Candy Cliff) as well. Great location, quiet, clean, very peaceful and restful after a full day of activity

Absolutely recommended!

We stayed 6 days in The Shack, and if we come again to this area, I will definitely book it again. Built in 2022 it is still brand new, modern, flooded with light, was super clean when we arrived, and we enjoyed very much living in it. Located in a calm residential area with very quiet nights, we slept long and well. Among the many attractions nearby we visited Zion Canyon, Kolob Canyon, Kolob Terrace, Candy Cliffs, and Snow Canyon. Thank you Cathleen and Josh for this wonderful stay!

Beautiful Restful Abode

This property is as represented in the pics! It is located in a wonderful, quiet, safe neighborhood. There is a porch off the back of the rental that overlooks a neighbor’s home and features the gorgeous mountains in the distance. It is a very peaceful and relaxing place to enjoy the early morning and evening! Cathleen is the best host and right there when you need anything! The kitchen is well stocked. The mattress on the bed is super comfortable! Cathleen has lots of wonderful amenities available all over the house! There is an air mattress that can be put in the downstairs area as well as an L-shaped couch up in the loft if you are OK with climbing! It is located close to many hiking trails in the state and national parks. There are super restaurants and coffee shops within a 30 mile radius.

Which is equally balanced by my husbands hard working, comical, carefree persona --with an uncanny ability to fix and build virtually ANYTHING! So if you're part hippie, redneck, blue collar, or health conscious you'll appreciate the atmosphere at The Shack.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Both my husband and I were born in Utah and have lived in Utah our whole lives. No matter where we've moved to or traveled to we find ourselves back here time and time again! It's truly home. We'd love to share our little piece of desert paradise with you and who knows, maybe we'll get an opportunity to see your stomping grounds during our future travels!
