Historic Southern Utah Cottage- 20 miles to Zion National Park

This historical property has been updated from the inside out. Built in 1904 by the Wilson family, one of the very first families to settle LaVerkin. It is one of the oldest Pioneer homes in all of Southern Utah.

This one bedroom, one bath structure is a combination of adobe brick and stick frame construction. The outside of the building has been left primarily untouched to maintain its historical integrity but has been updated inside to accommodate the modern traveler.

*Please note our weather is similar Las Vegas Nevada, not Northern Utah. We have such amazing weather to come and experience the great Zion National Park!! (July and August ARE hot- But Zion has water hikes!)

What a wonderful place to stay! This was our home base for Zion and Bryce Canyon, and it was perfect. Quaint, charming, comfortable. The property is well taken care of. The owners are great and the communication was ideal. We definitely recommend this homestead to any couple looking for a quiet getaway.

Cozy !

Second Time weve stayed its perfect location for our backpacking adventures into Bryce amd Zion we even ventured the trek to capitol reef needless to say this place fits our need and I was able to give a amazing Birthday to my Partner. AMAZING

Hands down the best experience I've had out of anywhere I've ever stayed. Liz is an amazing host. I told her I was bringing my girlfriend to Zion to propose and she not only gave me a list of amazing locations, while we were gone she decorated for me to surprise my now fiance. This litte house is quiet, private, clean, and up to date. Cant wait to stay here again.

Cute, Quiet, and Comfortable!

This was our home base for our four-day trip to Zion. The location was extremely convenient when we needed to head back to the cabin, which was equipped with AC and was perfect to escape the heat.The kitchen was perfect for making our own meals and was stocked with all the basic pots/dishes/paper towel you need. We shopped for groceries at Lin's in Hurricane, which was a much closer commute than we expected.The interior of the cabin was very comfortable and had a great porch view of a mountain. The bathroom was gorgeous and stocked with complimentary shampoo, soap, and conditioner.We recommend this place to anyone staying in the area, especially if traveling to Zion! We would love to stay here again someday.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely historic cabin. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed, including being able to cook meals, and do a load of laundry. Cozy Cottage

This cabin is clean, comfortable and easy to call home for a few days. We loved it. Absolutely loved this cabin. So so charming. Every detail delightful. Loved having a glass of wine on the beautiful deck in those wonderful rocking chairs after a day of hiking. Home away from home!

After a long day out, it was refreshing to return to this cozy house. All the modern conveniences of home and a walk-in shower. It was very noticeable that the host maintained the property. Almost Perfect

This was a delightful place to stay while visiting Zion. My husband and I appreciated the history of the property. The renovation was beautifully done and provided a comfortable place to stay. My only complaint was with the "shared laundry facility." If you have a load of clothing you need to wash I would suggest driving two miles down the road to use the laundromat.

My husband's 3rd Great-Grandfather, Grandpa Wilson built this small home for his wife and 3 children to live in while he built the larger farm home next store.
