Your vacation of a lifetime starts with sprawling ocean, beach and mountain views. The cool northwest exposure #407 allows for views of sublime sunsets, beach activity on Kamaole I and the whirling windmills of the West Maui mountains. The lanai patio is the perfect spot to take it all in and it will become the focal point of your stay.

The home has been thoughtfully renovated over the years with style and functionality. The kitchen is trimmed out with large granite counters, lots of cabinet space for your Costco haul and modern stainless steel appliances. Kitchen utensils and gadgets complete the kitchen. As an extra touch there is a wine fridge nestled in the cabinetry. The living area features a comfy sectional couch, ceiling fan and entertainment area with a large TV & deluxe speakers. Hi-speed WIFI is complimentary.

The principal bedroom suite offers OCEAN VIEWS from the private fourth floor picture windows. A walk-in closet, big enough to store your luggage, and deluxe bathroom (complete with oversize shower) and ceiling fan complete the space. The second bedroom is trimmed with built-in cabinetry, flat screen TV, ceiling fan, closet and twin beds (convertible to king-size). Adjacent to this bedroom is a full bathroom with tub/shower combo and a separate laundry closet.

If you want to grill a steak or catch of the day, then head up to the rooftop garden where four BBQs, patio tables & chairs and a kitchenette with fridge are available. With 360 degree views including Haleakala, nearby islands and unforgettable sunsets this is an excellent place to enjoy the ‘golden hour’ as the sun sinks into the sea.

#407 at the Royal Mauian is walkable for those that enjoy beach activities, local restaurants, beach volleyball, snorkel and surf rentals, gift stores and health food stores. Within a 10 minute drive you can find golf, pickleball, tennis, Wailea shops, banking, large chain grocery store and health clinics.

You will love the beautiful sandy beaches of Kamaole I & II that are just outside your door but you might find yourself on the private pool deck or lawn loungers reading your favorite book. Throughout the year turtles can be seen exploring the point right in front of #407 and if you are visiting from December to March you may be treated to breaching humpback whales.

The home is far enough south so there is minimal neighborhood noise, yet far enough north that only a little direct sun reaches patio in the late afternoon keeping temperatures comfortable. Also, the trade winds help keep the condo cool.

Convenient paradise

Barbara’s Royal Mauian condo was perfect for our family vacation. Unbelievable views in every direction, the ease of walking right down to the beach (and running back up for any forgotten items), the close proximity to Kihei shops and restaurants in walking distance all made for a very easy vacation. The condo itself was very clean and well-stocked both in the kitchen, with linens, and with beach items. We plan to book another stay here if available next year!

Loved it!

We love this location and condo! The condo was clean and a perfect size for our family of 4. The views and ocean sounds are the best. It is well stocked with kitchen supplies and linens. The beach chairs, umbrella and cooler were so great to have. We were there in March and having no AC was not a problem. With the windows open, the breeze was perfect. We would definitely come back to this location and highly recommend it.

Whales and views

This condo deserves a 10 . The views are gorgeous , the unit is very clean and comfortable and the kitchen is stocked better than my own . We watched the sunset from the roof top terrace and also used the grills every night . Highly recommend staying here .

Perfect for a Relaxing Maui Getaway

We have been to Maui 25+ times over the years and this is now one of our new favorite places to stay. Beautiful views, fantastic location and very nice, updated condo. Barbara was great with communication and every part of the process was smooth. Highly recommend, would definitely stay here again!

A Wonderful Respite

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo the second week of March. The temperature was perfect throughout the unit, cleaning was impeccable, and we have never stayed in a place so well stocked. We were happy to pay it forward. You can hear traffic at times, but we only found it intrusive once when there were necessary sirens. Our second evening there, we were thrilled to witness whales breaching as we sat on the balcony. Sunsets were always enjoyable, and turtles grazed and floated right in front of the property every morning. One came up onto the beach right beside the property and I was able to get fabulous sunset pictures with her in the foreground.Snorkeling is great from the beach from either end of the property – no need to go anywhere. There are plenty of restaurants and a grocery store nearby, and we found the location ideal for exploring the island from one end to the other. We will happily seek out this unit for a future visit.

Beautiful property

We had a wonderful time at this property. Great location, right along the beach. Loved watching the turtles feed from the balcony. Close to shopping, golf, and plenty of restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful condo, 10/10 views and experience. Truly feels like a home away from home. I’ve been to Maui many times before but my partner has not and this unit could not have been any better for his first time there. Thank you Barbara for sharing your travel home with us!

Beautiful views, convenient location

We have rented lots of vacation homes and this condo was one of the best stocked we have had! The location was close to all we wanted and easy to get across the island to other activities. Watching the whales off the balcony was a definite bonus. Grills on the rooftop were very clean and well maintained. Thank you for the use of your condo!

Great spot!

We had a great visit to Kihei. The condo was lovely. Updated, well-stocked, and clean! The view was fantastic! Enjoyed watching whales right from the Lanai. We had a concern about the fridge and Barbara addressed it immediately and got a repair person out to the condo. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Maui Getaway

Great place to unplug and relax. Centered between two beautiful beaches, plenty of shopping, fantastic views. So many places close by to explore. Very comfortable accommodations, great second room for kids. Perfectly centered sunset views from the lanai, great snorkeling just outside, walking the beaches at night. Lots of great memories. The condo was great. It was well stocked with cooking essentials, so we didn’t have to go purchase additional cooking supplies. There were plenty of dishes and utensils. The condo was well kept. Living room comfortable as well as the beds. Would stay here again. Never mind you are right on the beach and close to shopping.

Exceeded Expectations

The property was fantastic - great location and the unit has an outstanding view of the ocean from the balcony (not all units can say the same). Could see turtles from the balcony. The condo was organized, well stocked, clean and enough space for four people. Bit of a wind tunnel in the afternoon with the trade winds but otherwise would highly recommend it

Great Well Stocked, Wonderful Location, Good Ocean View

I have stayed at many of the Royal Mauian rooms. This unit was spectacularly supplied. Some unit that I have stayed at completely clean out every single item between guests and have a bare minimum of ancillary items. This unit had as much as would be reasonable to leave in the unit. (Spices, sauces, non-perishables). The unit also had a great supple of beach equipment. All new or near new Beach chairs (4, two of them still unopened), 4 snorkel sets, 2 never used). It’s also worth mentioning that you can snorkel right outside the unit and see a wonderful collection of sea life, turtles, fish, coral, etc. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that the unit DOES not have AC. Fans in every room, but no AC. For October it was no big deal but during the hot months it may be a little unbearable for some people that like to sleep cool.

Location, location, location!

With easy access to great snorkeling, beaches, stores and restaurants, this condo was the perfect spot for our family vacation. We have stayed in the Royal Mauian before and it never disappoints. We loved that the condo provided beach towels and beach chairs. The decor is a bit dated, but this did not detract from our visit and even seems somewhat to be expected in a beach location. The kitchen was well appointed - could use a few more outdoor cups. Our only bit of feedback is that the mattress in the Master is memory foam and was not kind to our backs. If you plan to visit when the weather is at its hottest, note that there is no air conditioning. Luckily the evenings were on the cool side for our visit.

We notified Barbara day after arrival of problems with opening front door, unable to use TV and master toilet running. She sent three different residents to try showing us how TV operates - none could make the set fully operational. No one ever came to fix these problems and we had no TV during stay until relatives came over and made it work by making separate moves on two remotes. The unit was in good condition and clean. We left with sheets clean and dry and towels in washer.

wonderful place to stay

The place is an excellent place to stay. Well stocked, great location, clean, and amazing views. First morning I woke up, looked out the window and saw a whale breach off in the distance! Fell asleep to the sounds of the ocean every night. Grocery stores and restaurants right across the street. Loved that it was stocked enough that we could live there without having to buy every essential at the grocery store (ie-spices). Parking was easy, friendly neighbors. Easy walk to beaches to snorkel. Would love to stay here again!

Amazing location, sunsets and turtle watching

The condo’s fully equipped kitchen and access to the roof top patio with BBQ was wonderful if we felt like cooking. Breakfast while watching turtles and evening sunset that were just amazing! Beautiful location

This was our first time to Hawaii and this location did not disappoint!! Peter was great to work with and was very friendly. The condo was very clean and the view is spectacular! The beach chairs, cooler and toys were much appreciated. Very easy walk to the beach. The pool was great and never crowded. We would definitely stay here again. Mahalo!

Supurb accomodations with breathtaking views

This was our third stay at the Royal Mauin, but first time in Unit 407. Hopefully, it will not be the last! This "Home" was exactly as described. The accommodations were suburb! Very clean and very well appointed, lots of room for four adults! This building is ideally located with great beach access, and easy access to many shops, stores and restaurants. There would not be one thing missing in this Unit. Most impressive was the well stocked kitchen. There were plenty of cutting boards, along with very good quality, sharp knives! How nice to have these amenities when you are preparing your meals! Just like home. There were beautiful dishes, good heavy cutlery, lovely wine glasses, champagne flutes! There were many baking dishes, of various sizes and pots/pans and frying pans. It was wonderful to find many spices, flour, oil, baggies, "bag" clips, serving utensils and "grilling" tongs, an excellent garlic press and corkscrew! Truly, not one thing missing in this kitchen. Great to have had water dispensed from the fridge, and be able to take our filled water bottles on our travels. The beds were comfortable, with lovely linens and lots of pillows. Amazing to wake to the sound of the waves and birds! There were plenty of towels, and lots great beach "gear". Snorkels, towels, chairs, it was all there. We used the roof top grills most nights to cook our meal, but dined on the lanai as the view of the sunset was exceptional. We more than enjoyed our stay and would love to be able to return. Thank you Peter and Randi for sharing your beautiful home. We truly loved our Maui vacation!

Excellent place to stay!!

We have stayed on all parts of Maui and settled in the Kihei area because we enjoy its dryer climate and consistent weather. The Royal Mauian offered oceanfront proximity to beaches, shopping, fine restaurants within walking distance and a very much enjoyed Roof Top Garden.
