Nestled second from the left facing the lake, this building is ideally located to offer stunning views and easy access to our communal amenities. This combination is perfect for families or friends seeking a memorable retreat, providing the ideal balance of privacy and shared spaces. Building 2 comprises upper and lower units, each with separate access doors but conveniently connected by an exterior staircase, ensuring both privacy and easy accessibility. The two upper units are cozy studio spaces, each offering a tranquil setting with a queen-size bed, well-equipped kitchenette, and a pristine full bathroom. The two lower units are 1-bedroom units, each boasting a comfortable living room, perfect for gathering or relaxation. They also include a convenient kitchenette and a clean full bathroom. Enjoy the charm of our communal areas, which feature free-standing fire pits, sitting areas, and breathtaking lakeside views. You'll have access to the entire building with door codes to access each. Lake Access: Our property is directly on the lake, however, as the perimeter of the lake is owned by the Army Corps of Engineers, we’re unable to provide paved access to the water. It is accessible, but the access point is steeper than expected. Here are some nearby options for public paved water access 1. JBSA Recreational Park - 1.6mi away 2. Canyon Park - 4.2 mi away 3. Floating the River - Tube Haus 4. We do have partnerships in place for pontoon or sports boat rentals on the lake. They would be able to meet you at the nearby dock for pickup and drop-off. The Container Retreat is a waterfront gem that provides a peaceful and remote experience with plenty of nearby amenities, activities, restaurants, and more! As to respect the peaceful ambiance of the community, we ask that this vibe is left undisturbed. Please help us to accommodate to quiet time after 10pm. Canyon Lake is also a respected 0 lumens stargazing community! Bring your binoculars or telescope to partake =). The best way to get around Canyon Lake will be via car.
