Wow - this house was a desert home dream come true. Highly recommend this home. Everything about our stay was perfect. The home was just as stated and pictured. The property, the views, the outside areas were magical - a desert paradise. The host was always available and super responsive. The home was very comfortable from the spacious kitchen to the comfy beds. If in the Twentynine Palms area and looking for a place to stay this home should be at the top of your list.

The place was a beautiful clean sacred sanctuary in the desert with all the comforts anyone would need, Great beds, outdoor shower special and great view of the mountains.

Amazing Desert Vibe

Desert Magic

My kids and I had such a wonderful time here at the ranch. What a beautiful property - very well kept and such lovely decor in and around the home! Watching the sunrise and sunset everyday was pure magic.

I was at Moonshadow Ranch for a bit over a week, and every element flat out exceeded expectations. The house was beautiful and welcoming with nice furniture and *comfortable* sheets. The garden was stunning, & the views all around were AMAZING (multiple spots for enjoying both sunrise and sunset) The kitchen is very well appointed (as advertised). Sienna (property mgr) was friendly, helpful, & responsive, going above and beyond to make my stay perfect. On top of everything, it was peaceful and rejuvenating (I was on a solitary retreat), exactly what the doctor ordered. So glad I chose Moonshadow for my trip, am hoping to return soon!P.S. Getting lost in the stars while floating on your back in the pool at night is not to be missed!

Perfect Mojave experience

Quiet, serene and secure house with all the amenities we could possibly expect. Beds were comfortable and both indoor and outdoor showers were great. All of our possible comfort needs were met. Our dog didn’t want to leave (nor did we).

Desert Vaca!

The house is very well decorated and fully stocked, the four of us enjoyed cooking meals and eating outside surrounded by the beautiful views, wonderful ambience inside and out. We came to visit Joshua Tree and the location was perfect to visit both entrances which was very cool! With all the space and expansive views it felt cozy and private, we hope to visit this place again as the house feels like a desert vacation in itself!

A dream desert experience

Sienna's property was the most ideal weekend getaway for 3 of us, who were looking to relax in Joshua Tree and do some hiking/stargazing. Situated in Twentynine Palms, you're only 15-20 minutes from the entrance of the park, and her space is perfect to relax in during the daytime while temps were hotter. Everything is so clean, and thoughtfully curated, and we loved sitting out on the deck and watching the sunsets. Will definitely rebook for future visits!

Perfection!

OMG! I love this property. It is so quite and peaceful. The perfect retreat. The home is so nicely decorated and comfortable. The property is beautiful with all the plants and trees. We had a great time having a fire under the stars and exploring the property for dessert animals and rocks. It was an easy drive to Joshua Tree. This is how VRBO should be! Bravo Moon Shadow Ranch!

Moon Shadow Ranch…Charming & Inspirational

Words cannot describe the vibe & charm at Moon Shadow Ranch. Relaxation sweeps through your soul the moment you walk through the door. This is an amazing & secluded little desert gem I hope to frequent. Everything about the place is conducive to good rest and relaxation. The lighting, aromatherapy, kitchen, glassware, cutlery, dining table, living room, sonos speaker, bedrooms, porches & yoga deck were fantastic. Closing each day by a fire under the stars is a must. Do treat yourself to the outdoor shower under the sun, moon & stars. My family thanks you, Sienna!

This is a wonderful place, and Sienna is an excellent host. The house is well laid out, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is fully equipped–the best I’ve ever seen in a rental– everything from a cocktail shaker to a spring-form pan.Outdoors, the place is almost a desert arboretum. Sienna has landscaped it beautifully with a large variety of desert flora and fruit trees, and there are many outdoor “rooms” to enjoy. Our grandchildren loved playing in the pool during the day, and in the evening we sat around the fire. There is excellent star gazing right on the property. It’s an easy drive to Joshua Tree National Park, where we hiked and went star gazing in the middle of the night. It’s an incredible landscape, and if you haven’t seen it, we highly recommend it. There is a good supermarket in town, and the town of Joshua Tree has fun places to explore–we recommend Sky High Pie for pizza and the coffee shop next door. Lots of places to poke around in. If you like books, don’t miss Raven’s Book Shoppe in Twentynine Palms. We hope to be back next year.
