This was the perfect house for a family vacation - All the bedrooms had en-suite bathrooms, and there was plenty of space, both indoor and outdoors to gather. The hosts were excellent communicators, and provided thoughtful amenities throughout the house. I would highly recommend this property!

Everything was perfect! The hot tub was cued up and ready for us, the beds were amazingly comfortable, and the couches were perfect to spend our weekend reading retreat doing exactly what we came to do: read! Everyone had an amazing time and we’d stay here again!

This was a great trip for 4 couples for a weekend getaway. Very comfortable and room to spread out. We just hung out and enjoyed. The house and setting is lovely.

This was the perfect spot for a girl’s weekend! Rooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. We appreciated that each bedroom had access to its own bathroom. Hot tub and fire pit were fun additions!

The house was lovely and cozy while also being spacious and providing for everything we needed! We especially enjoyed the fireplace, hot tub, fully stocked kitchen, and spacious rooms. We appreciated how communicative the hosts were from the time of booking, providing a detailed house guide and replying promptly when we had inquiries during our stay. The location was quiet and serene and 20 minutes from downtown Galena.

This was a beautiful house with plenty of space for our group of 10. The weather wasn't great but the hot tub is in a covered area so we used it every day. The kids liked watching the turkeys and deer wander around the property. We also had fun roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. We expected a lot of bugs being in a wooded area, but there were no mosquitos. The pool was just a short drive away and was well kept. The hosts were very responsive and even checked in us after a pretty bad storm came through. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful area for family reunion

Overall great accommodation. All beds were comfortable and was a great environment for our cousins reunion. We had a couple small hiccups and the owners were swift in response and transparent in situations. We would definitely book again

The RELAXING RETREAT was just as advertised. The screen room was a wonderful place to sit back and enjoy being surrounded by nature. Beds were comfortable and the en suite with each bedroom provided the desired privacy. The kitchen provided adequate extras and was well designed for cooking and eating together.

This was an excellent choice for our family holiday. Part of our time we did experience heavy rains which held us back from using the yard and enjoying the night sky, but, the daylight hours at the Owners Club were perfect. Nice beds, towels, laundry, and kitchen set up. We are already ready to come back!

What a wonderful place to slow down with my family and regroup for a fun time. This was the perfect spot to host our family get away. We had ample room for all, plus the large screened in porch, dining table/game night table and hot tub were favorite spots for everyone. Thank again!

Excellent choice if coming to Galena!

Highly recommend. The hosts were wonderful and communicative. Check-in and check-out was easy. The amenities were awesome. The screened in porch was a big hit! I would definitely stay here again!
