Welcome to Holden Beach - a laid back, flip flop/t-shirt island full of fun for everyone!

Gorgeous ocean and sunset views from the spacious living area and porches. A quick walk to the beach ramp and you are on a private quiet beach! Quick drive over to the park, pickleball/tennis courts, basketball, bike rental, coffee shop and slushie/ice cream as well as the island's 3 restaurants.

Chef-style kitchen with upgraded appliances, oven with air fryer and Keurig with pod/carafe. Full size Speed Queen washer and dryer. King bedroom with large ADA shower, queen bedroom and 2 bunk room each with private bathrooms. Separate WFH and child play areas. Smart TV with streaming apps. Linens/towels provided. Parking for 4 cars.

Accessibility: Chair lift up the back stairs (must put a deposit down and get instruction prior to use), van parking, ADA shower/chair; wide doors. Also beach wheelchairs/walkers available to reserve from Holden. There is no elevator for heavy electric wheelchairs.

A perfect place to stay

The home was beautiful and within a short walk to the beach. I loved that it was handicap accessible, as it made for a much easier trip on my grandparents. Everything was very clean and the view off the back porch was perfect. I would definitely recommend this home for families with children/older adults as it was accommodating to every age.

Relaxing in comfort

Rebecca was wonderful to work with. House was super clean, but did miss on a couple items. Rebecca was notified and was very agreeable with these items missed, and did offer the appropriate solutions. House was located on the main road, and at times did have some noise. Overall relaxin in comfort in a great house and proximity to beach, with a greater than great host. Should the opportunity arise for a visit to Holden again, I would not hesitate to book here again.

We are a family of 4 with a special little guy that has extra needs and loves the beach. It became too hard for us to travel with him to hotels so we built our home to accommodate him and other families like ours (as well as those with aging parents!). With the rental income we give away trips to families who can't afford trips to the beach due to the cost of their medical care.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We built this house so that all types of people and families can come enjoy the beach. We have thought through making things as easy as possible so that everyone can relax and enjoy the vacation. Our area of beach is private and quiet, yet just minutes away from the island park, bike rentals, coffee, and restaurants on the island. We hope that you can enjoy some fun in the sun and will enjoy the laid back lifestyle that Holden Beach offers. It's a true gem.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Accessible chair lift for entrance into the house; ADA shower in the master bathroom and all doors are large. Marsh and intercoastal waterway view from the back patio offer amazing sunset views. Area of beach has less houses so more private than other areas.
