Hello and welcome to Soft Shores Vacation rentals newest vacation home, Salty Shores. This beautiful custom build located on gorgeous 30A is a true picture of bohemian Florida home here on the Emerald Coast and Florida Panhandle. This home belonged to a local for decades and is now being offered as a vacation home for you and your family.

It features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms all on the first floor with a sofa bed in the den area. The house sleeps max of 12 people, 2 in both King and Queen room and 6 singles in the bunk room. It also offers a brand new pool that measures 16.5'x 24.5" with a depth of 5ft at the deep end. Included is a sun shelf for small children and adults to relax under two umbrella stands. The floors and doors are all solid and give you a sense of a solid beach house. The upstairs is all hard wood floors with an amazing screened in porch that goes all on the back side and on the left side. Kitchen features a very beautiful Wolf oven/stove and a farm house style sink. Ample counter and cabinet space give you lots of room to cook and spend much needed time with family and friends. There is a breakfast area as well for those who are up bright and early for the gorgeous sunrises. We also have two coffee stands for our guests, one just outside the master bedroom and one beside the kitchen. The back yard has a neat sand pit for kids and a swing couch. The side yard has a spiral staircase for ease of access to the porch upstairs. There are also multiple tables for having breakfast, lunch or dinner outside. The yard is lit up with ambient cafe style lights which come on automatically.

Salty Shores is located 3 blocks from the Dune Allen Beach Access and Stink's restaurant (local favorite) Up the road as you travel east about a mile is Gulf Place where there are shops, food, more beach access, live music and more! 30A is a very unique hwy (two lane) where you will see many golf carts, exotic cars and some rare 4x4 vehicles. It is home to where Jim Carreys "The Truman Show" was filmed in Seaside, the annual Sand Rover Rally for 4x4 enthusiasts, multiple celebrity homes, a slew of restaurants that serve the best local fish and with a much more laid back vacation experience. You won't see cheap beach stores, fast food places, Wal-Marts or big box stores of any sort. 30A is for the vacationer who wants to have an authentic Florida experience in a home built to blend with the surroundings and not feel like a tourist. No elevators to catch, no parking lot to walk, no dirty community pool. This is your place, just you.

We gladly accept pets with a pet fee, two dog limit. $175

The pool can be heated for $550/week. We do offer a monthly rate for this as well.

We do not take reservations for groups who are under the age of 25.

We do offer snowbird rates for the winter months (October-March) $3900/no pool heat and $4600/with pool heat.

Guests are responsible for any cancelations or requests to cancel. under no circumstances will we, Soft Shores Vacation Rentals LLC, initiate a cancelation or process a request to cancel a reservation. The guest is responsible to 100% cancel their own reservation if the wish to receive their proper refund.

For those who want to shop Southern Comfort is located close to Silver Sands Outlet Mall which is a vacation in its own right. Shoppers have access to over 100 stores, including, Polo, Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic, Eddie Bauer, Liz Claiborne, Tommy Hilfiger, Lenox, Nike, and Reebok - just to name a few. When you need to pause for nourishment choose from Cheeseburger in Paradise or Carrabba's Italian Grill.

More great shopping can be found at Destin Commons outdoor mall. Enjoy such great stores as Abercrombie & Fitch, Ann Taylor Loft, Banana Republic, Belk, & Maui Nix Surf Shop to name a few.
